Totally love arch's vocals..totally amazing..and to the guy who says Labrie wishes to be ..Labrie has emulated and been inspired by arch but labrie is way more versatile,so many chameleon vocals emulating mercury, dio, elton and many more as well as these days in the last album his power f sharp and more..please don't compare as Arch is frikin amazing..and i'm a total fan,his latest work is epicness..always such monster weapon musicians on his albums
I don't think that James Labrie wishes to be anybody, he is a great singer and a hell of a nice guy that's worked his ass off for well a well deserved success and enjoys bringing great music to people.
Arch was in the best metal outfit in Fates Warning,Alder was in a Fates Warning that needed a singer and Midnight wasn't available nor was Geoff Tate.Fates Warning had set the bar so high replacing Arch was like Iron Maiden replacing Bruce, sometimes the key element is a one of a kind. The whole band was a machine but their trademark was Arches' voice.
There's something about Arch's voice that makes it simply enchanting. You may even think it's childish or something, but its melody makes it stand out of the rest. With all respect due to Ray Alder, Arch outdoes him in many ways. Don't get me wrong; I highly rank Alder's work on FW's albums, but Arch... Man, he's way better than most power and progressive metal singers. Add that to the monster musicians on this production and you can't get anything but sublime master pieces.

I have heard this song. I have bought the cd instantly. John Arch is great, one of the best vocalists ever.
