I watched this film for 15 minutes with an open mind, as I've never been into C.O.F, but have liked more than a few of their songs over the years. However, it was as I half expected: A complete ego wank for Dani Filth...Ultimate powers, women throwing themselves at him from all angles and needless shots of tits. Exactly the kind of thing that low-esteemed neo-goth weirdo's would love. Lost a little bit more respect for him.

People who don't get that just piss on about the budget of the film. I see that this is a very cheesy film and am well aware it's not grand masterpiece of fine art. It's just good fun with a most amazing soundtrack that I highly recommend picking up if you dig the sounds and can find the disc. I love this film for what it is like a good bad Greg Araki film.

@thedeomon Yeah Cradle Of Fear is a low budget horror movie directed by a guy called Alex Chandon. Alex also directed From Encradle To Enslave, No Time To Cry, Her Ghost In The Fog etc so pretty much their best videos.

Most criticism that people make on the movie is because that it is low budget. I certainly like the film.

I use to be a big fan of Cradle of Filth, and I still enjoy their music and appreciate them from time to time, but even when I was obsessed with the band I felt this movie was legitimately in the running for the genuinely worst film ever made. It achieves a rank above "Manos: Hands of Fate", and inspires a reaction of nothing less, nor more, than utter bewilderment and silence.

In other words, even to a Cradle of Filth fan, the film is absolutely atrocious.

And is therefore a guilty pleasure.
