  • Thank you for this, I had a terrible day and screwed up the rails on my phone, without this I would never have attempted a repair job.

    Cheers,

    Aaron

  • thanks i just fix my speaker....and y do that wire always come off

  • Before you can take for the mother board out there is a 5th screw up by the camera/speaker.

  • Thanks!

  • What to do if the screen is all white after you change it?

  • go back and check the cable connections.

  • hey thanks man your a savor just changed my screen this morning with no problems some of the screws you forgot to mention but no big deal thanks a lot you are the man

  • no more 8525 screens?

  • Sorry no. Not a big seller for us. I am sure you can google them.

  • thank you very much

  • Can not thank you enough my 8525's speaker phone/ringer/MP3 player stopped working. Spent $3.99 at Sears for T6 Torx and used tiny flat head screwdriver as case seperator. The little white speaker connector had come off, snapped it back on and I am back listening to Stern on my phone without the need for any earphones!!!

  • No problem at all glad we can help. If anyone can not find the tools we do also have them on our webpage at pdaparts com.

  • NICE!!! This helped me fix my speaker connection. I was getting ready to scrap the phone. Thanks!

  • Followed the steps and easily replaced my screen. Just had to get the T6-torx and the extra screen :)

  • im stoked to try this- but i dont have a t6... thing. ahaha

  • Thanks!!!!This vid helped me a lot,I was able to fix the problem that i had with my phone instanly after watching this vid.!!!!

  • Superb. As it turns out my speaker connection has came loose. Just opening the case without destroying it makes it so worthwhile.

  • ya'll are angels, thanks!

  • This guide was great for me when I needed to take apart my 8525 in order to reseat the rear speaker connector. You don't even have to take off the case all the way, just take up the four screws and pry it a little, and you can push the connector in right there! Also, I was able to use a small eyeglass screwdriver to take up the screws...

    Great job!

  • Thanks - this was a huge help! But yeah, there were some other screws you forgot to mention. Still, this made my day.

  • When you're removing the motherboard, don't forget the little screw up and to the right of the camera lens. It wasn't explicitly mentioned and it's easy to overlook, so be careful.

  • Thank you dude.

  • Thanks you so much. This video has been a great help to me.
