  • GRACE KELLY FOR EVER!

NO WAMAN HAD NEVER BEEN ENCHANTING AND STUNNING AS GRACE WAS.

    MOST BEAUTIFUL OF ALL TIMES

  • after watching a Greta Garbo biography, I realize her beauty has been underrated. She's WAY up there!

  • The Most Beautiful Video on Youtube. :)

  • Really enchanting the two of them . I've been for years a big fan of beautiful Rita Hayworth starring Gilda sexiest Cinema Woman, and Beautiful Vivien Leigh too.Lot of years watching theyr films, but in my opinion the Most Beautiful of History remains Grace Kelly the unique Princess Worldwide fell in love with.

  • I'm sorry, but Rita Hayworth and Vivien Leigh are unbeatable. And they remain so.

  • Vivien Leigh reached her top in Gone with the wind! She was divine, marvellous, enchanting, the ideal wife a man should have next to him, not Scarlett, I mean the real Vivien. But I think Liz Taylor's beauty was everlasting. inferiore

She was not beneath V. Leigh.

Liz was listed one of the most beautiful women. I 've watched Gone..Vivien's movie at least 100 times. In my opinion they both resembled. Am I wrong?

But Grace Kelly is the outmost!

Most beautiful living greature of the History

  • I love how top 10 is mostly brunettes, and 11-20 are mostly blondes. You got that right mate! ;)

  • Totally disagree, Vivien Leigh, in her utmost starlight in "Gone With the Wind"...there was no other beauty like her or since. Vivien was petite boned and naturally beautiful. Liz Taylor was heavier boned and her eyebrows were too much...she didn't have the big walking stride like Vivien....she didn't have that "natural" beauty. Liz was too made up. They didn't have to put tons of make up on Vivien in GWTW...she was it. She will always be the most natural, beautiful stunner. Vivien the highest!

  • Marilyn Monroe was sexiest and beautiful as well. Audrey Hepburn enchanting, Style Icon, and beautiful out and in the innermost.

But Grace Kelly's face was really the most perfect of the history.

She was classy, style, fashion, and regal bearing.

    REALLY MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN EVER!

Liz Taylor and V.Leigh resemble one other, Ava Gardner splendid, Sophia Loren Beautiful, Rita Hayworth atomic, Ingrid Bergman unforgettable and maybe most talented as actress, but

    GRACE KELLY not reproducible beauty!

  • spot on

  • Subscribed :) Please keep making videos! You're awesome!

  • Nice post - thankyou. It's always going to be subjective who you find beautiful. For example, I find Audrey Hepburn very pixie or elfin like, androgynous, not sexy at all, but attractive in a pure, spiritual kind of way. I notice Grace Kelly has a very contemporary face. She would get lots of film parts today, whereas some of the others would not. Am going to view your 40 actresses with interest.

  • GRACE KELLY THE ONLY GODDESS!

She's uncomparable to any other woman of the century.

She's stunning, enchanting, beautiful, a very real Lady.

Her name is Grace for she's The " grace "

  • God, they are all amazing...

  • Sophia Loren in El Cid was post-1960.

  • @locotaco10 Their films do not have to be pre-1960, but their film DEBUT needs to be.

  • Grace Kelly, la mas bella de todos los tiempos!!!!

  • @elsirui I totally agree with you. She was very but very beautiful, most beautiful of all times. Grace Kelly is number one in the list.

She's uncomparable and i love her royal bearing.

  • greta garbo - unbelievable beautiful

  • @secretcombination94 true, but she slouches.

  • And, I'm a big Liz Taylor fan, but I do agree that "A Place in the Sun" was her best picture and so it's totally appropriate having THAT one showcased here for her.

  • Ava Gardner rocks!!

  • My fav two wernt on here, How can you forget the WW2 PINUP Queen Betty Grable & Veronica Lake

  • WOW Viven Leigh! She really does it for me. Audrey who?

  • At 5:45 I Can Already Hear Her Saying "Oh Rhett..." ♥_♥

  • Maureen O hara is one of the only actresses from this list still alive and i think its a crime she has not received an honorary oscar yet.Common she deserves it more than many of the people who got it in the past couple of years !!!

  • beautiful ladies

  • They are ALL number one's

  • Ingrid Bergman.. what beautiful eyes. Marilyin Monroe: number one of all time. I guess natalie Wood was a bit young for this list. ALL these women were FABULOUS ACTRESSES! and totally awesome .. and I am lucky enough to be old enough to remember tham all. :) THANK YOU for the work on this clip

  • Lauren Bacall WOW!!!!!!! She so totally puts to shame any babe today (hon mention to Carrie Underwood/Fisher)

  • Liz Taylor is so beautiful it hurts to look at her!

  • VERONICA LAKE IS ALSO VERY GORGEOUS

  • Agree with #1

  • the whole time i was like where is elizabeth taylor??? haha and there she was numba one!

  • Charisma Carpenter looks like Claudia Cardinale

  • this video is amazing !! and the musique .. you made me cry ! :-) I so wish , I knew how to do vids too

  • мерлин монро должна быть на первом месте!

  • amazing.... it brought tears to my eyes ... they are all beautiful ( some more than others) and hooze grace , charisma and feminity but.....Elisabeth tailor and Maryline are my favorites.

Maryline shines through all thoze strong beautifull ladies , she is the ultimate woman , her combination of ligtness and depth is deliciously heartbreaking ....

  • I think Rita Hayworth is the most beautiful. She has a very nice smile as well

  • The list is perfect for me.

  • MARILYN FOREVER

  • Elizabeth Taylor is my favourite.

  • Ava Gardener such a beauty inside and out.

  • Vivien Leigh and Grace Kelly!!!! Like delicate porcelain dolls :D

  • My favourite is Greta Garbo, even if the other ones are incredibly beautiful too.

  • Judy Garland!!!!!

  • Wonderful video! I don't agree with every single one of the choices but I agree with most of them and hey, it's all opinion and yours is pretty damn good! And let's face it, all of these women had faces!

  • greer garson!!

  • Thank you for posting this. Simply nostalgic.

  • Where Judy Garland and Natalie Wood on this list. How could you have the technicolor beauties without Judy, she was gorgeous.

  • Marilyn should be higher ;)

  • Can you please let me know the name of the background tune, its very nostalgic, please

  • Vivien Leigh should be to number one !!! She's AMAZING !!!

  • Well I won't be negative. You got a lot of popular actresses on here but your subject is most beautiful.Being a classic movie buff I can't see how Jane Russell,Linda Darnell and Rhonda Fleming miss this list? These women are natural beauty just not popular actresses.

  • I think my favorite is marilyn monroe

  • They all wore such heavy lipstick back then

  • WHERE IS BETTE DAVIS?

  • Yes! Vivien Leigh made number 2! She deserves it she's a true beauty, but in my opinion I believe Lauren Bacall should be a bit higher up maybe somewhere around 13-12?

  • Comment removed

  • @n0iwont haha, that's very technical. but i see what your saying

  • Ava Gardner was clearly supreme.

  • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We individuals are all diferrent, some people find an obese woman beautiful, some people find thin woman beautiful, etc etc. we all have our opinions of what we think is beautiful in our eyes. There's no argument about whom should be number 1.

  • where is bette davis?

  • Vivien Leigh and Audrey Hepburn are the most beautiful to me...i mean vivien leigh is just WOW and Audrey has such elegance that no one can compare to. they are the best!

  • They're all gorgeous women but my top 3 is #1 Vivien Leigh, #2 Elizabeth Taylor and #3 Rita Hayworth.

  • cannot argue with this list all extroridnarly beautiful women

  • I would have had Marilyn Monroe in the top 3.....she was a true beauty.

  • Thanks, I agree MS TAYLOR is tops----------Marilyn wouls have been 2 on my list, but again, Thanks, great slide show

  • Beautiful slide show. I loved it. My #1 is Vivien. All beauties in their own right. It is very hard to compare one to another. Vivien has always been my favorite though and all of my favorites were included. Thank you.

  • Grace Kelly should be number one on this list. I feel this list is based on fame and how memorable the movies are rather than beauty.

  • @9734521 Considering that Grace, Audrey and Marilyn are the three most iconic and famous women in this list your comment is completely wrong. Are you telling me that Hedy, Vivien, Claudia and Gene are more remembered and famous today? No they're not. Your comment makes no sense.

  • i am a not a native english.i am seeing many of these actresses pretty much for the first time.so,i think i can maintain that neutral stand.and to me,19,18,9[monroe],2,1 stand out among the others.

  • @MonroeSmile Everyone sees beauty differently, so no one is going to completely agree with this. I personally think Deborah Kerr and Maureen O'Hara are the most beautiful! but all these wonderful actresses have their own beauty and it comes out in different ways on the screen. Anyway, I think the video is beautifully done!

  • @envy16kate I was thinking the same thing! I love, Love, LOVE Deborah Kerr and really think that she was not only a stunning beauty, but an amazing talent as well.

  • @MonroeSmile Your list is Gorgeous and Elizabeth is my Passion: i would put Marlyn and Grace after Liz but again i love your list and all these ladies were stunning!!! Thank you..

  • @9734521 I think this all is merely subjective. My favourite is definitely Audrey Hepburn.

  • @9734521 I totally agree with you. Princess Grace Kelly should be number one on this list, for she's the most beautiful woman all over the World, and even today it's really impossible to find a woman who's able to replace Grace Kelly's matchless perfection.

No other will never be like Princess Grace.

  • They are all beautiful women and of course there is room for many more.Hollywood is a beauty factory with a perpetual conveyor belt rolling out one after another to please all tastes and we

are the lucky ones.Let's not quarrel over beauty. It's to be celebrated with joy.

  • was SO happy to see marlene dietrich included in this list! thank you, a wonderful tribute. but what about joan fontaine?

  • Where's Marpessa Dawn???!!

  • the best top i've ever seen

  • YES! ELIZABETH TAYLOR!

  • How bout Ann Sheridan? w/ those beautiful almond shaped bedroom eyes!.....COME ON MAN!!!!

  • You forgot Joan Bennett..

  • For me...Grace Kelly is the most beautiful....God bless her soul....Merry Christmas!!!

  • Twenty Goddesses...o my God...they are all divinely beautiful....I would put all them twenty in the first place.

  • I am amazed that a video depicting beauty in all it's glory can result in arguments. We should

all appreciate the memories these ladies gave us and realize they are gone and can't be replaced.God bless all of them.

  • HeatherGlenn33,you are so fortunate to have been close to Gene Eliza Tierney.I'm glad

you had such a memorable experience.Apart from her unique and natural beauty she emanated a mystical spirit that can't be equaled or explained. That's why she captivated me more then all of the others.I know that each on this list could easily be selected and justifiably so but Gene Eliza Tierney touched my heart in a special way.

  • @iliyanmk i think you should learn to spell before you make comments. ??

  • @MonroeSmile I saw it already and commented. Both lists are to my liking. I may not agree with all of it, but it is an overall good list. :)

  • @Rosannasfriend Thank you very much :) and Merry Christmas!

  • @MonroeSmile you're welcome and Happy Holidays!

  • I cant believe people are bitching about who isn't in the video and who should be taken out. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think MonroeSmile has done a fantastic job!

  • @MStreepIsMyIdol we are giving our own opinions, something a list like this always invites. It doesn't mean we don't think she did a good job. Anything that makes us think did its job.

  • @Rosannasfriend I know, but seeing some of the earlier comments, people are telling her that she shouldn't of done this or added someone else in. I wish I could make videos as good as her :)

  • ALSO..Dorothy Dandridge and Lena Horne should be in this video and in my opinion deserve to be in this video more than any of those girls featured, true beauties , true women!

  • @RnB4LIF3 I remade this video a few months back, and you will be happy to hear that I included both Lena and Dorothy. Beauty is opinion so I accept half of your comment, but all the actresses in this video are TRUE women, not just Lena and Dorothy. Thank you for watching.

  • @MonroeSmile that is great. I think RnB's point is that there should be more diversity, but I don't blame you as there weren't many Hollywood superstars who were black back then.

  • @RnB4LIF3 Dandridge yes, Lena's face is too harsh for me and she's all teeth.

  • Mostly average faces at best! Makeup and sparky dresses can always make a girl appear like more than what she is.

  • why is audrey hepburn at 11 ? she should be at top 5 or 3. well, in my opinion..

  • to be honest, I don't see the big deal about Vivien Leigh's looks at all. Not that she wasn't pretty, but I fail to see how she is better looking than most actresses. She was just alright.

  • @Rosannasfriend

Me too. I think she is pretty but not as gorgeous as everyone claims her to be. Her eyebrow movements are kinda distracting but I guess she did such a great job in Gone with the wind that people place her in such a high pedestal.

  • @Rosannasfriend But she was Scarlett. Can you fiddelty-de-dee?

Remember the opening line from the book. "Scarlett O'Hara was not beautiful."

  • @grabit1 LOL, then why did they pick an actress that many obviously considered beautiful? And obviously the fans didn't get the memo, for in this role they feel she was her most gorgeous!

  • is there a handsomest men list to go along with this?

  • ava gardner number 1,hedy lamarr2,then gene, vivien and garbo level as for monroe she was manufactured she was a natural ginger haired lady not a blonde and compared to the other women ive mentioned she was not in there league for beauty, liz taylor was asked on parkinson who was the most beautiful women she ever saw and she said without a shadow of a doubt it was ava lavinia gardner.

  • Since this video started i knew Elizabteh is going to be number one! <3 <3 May she rest in peace :'(

  • People were much more attractive back then .

  • @girlzrock44 Seems that way, but i think people were just more classy back then which makes them look more beautiful :)

  • Gene Eliza Tierney remains to this day the epitome of natural beauty.

  • @northernoir I totally agree. I saw her once near the Brown Derby so long ago. Her eyes are so green they look like the ocean. Her cheeckbones, and full lips are natural, and I was just 14 years old, and too scared to speak to her.

  • All these actresses are wonderfull, very very beautyfull, gorgeous. But,oh yes but, number one is GINA LOLLOBRIGIDA.

  • they're all so gorgeous I could cry! :')

  • why is people so pretty back in the day

  • Except for Liz at # One. You got the order all wrong. Leigh at 2! Ahead of Rita Hayworth? Surely you jest.

  • Olivia De Havilland should be # one!

  • Yes Claudia is beautkfull, but not so important .

  • and where the heck is Monica Vitti

  • I don't think that Taylor was the most beautiful one. That Claudia Cadinale got me.

  • JULIE ANDREWS. WHERE IS JULIE ANDREWS?

  • @soundersbloke I think Julie Andrews wasn't on the list because she didn't make her film debut until 1964 (in "Mary Poppins"). And I can't believe that Marilyn Monroe wasn't higher up!

  • I forgot Cyd Charise

  • ..and where are Linda Darnell, Jennifer Jones, Jayne Mansfield, Kim Novak or Alexis Smith?

  • Cristo!

  • Cristo.

  • Cristo!

  • Back when starlets were actually pretty... thank you for making this.

  • Ava Gardener reminds me so much of Monica Bellucci <3 Gene Tierney is just divine <3

  • Are you kidding me.... Half of the women shown were just average looking. What about Lena Horne or Dorothy Dandridge??!!

  • Great choices, but I would have put Audrey Hepburn at least in the top 5.And I would have added Natalie Wood(allthough she really would be more post 60s so its all good)

  • Comment removed

  • Margaret Rutherford+Miss Jane Marple.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

  • No Mary Dressler? She's the sexiest actress of them all. I'm appalled.

  • Sophia Loren? Seriously? I would have included Myrna Loy and Paulette Goddard.

  • ELIZABETH TAYLOR ❤ ( Y con mayúsculas)

  • No Joan fontaine??

  • Where's Dorothy Dandridge or Virginia Mayo? Susan Heyward?

  • Elizabeth Taylor face, best actresses Hepburn and Bergman (Taylor too!) but extreme womanhood as if to procreate 20 children ; the Italians.

  • The list is only of Hollywood actresses, which includes Italians that worked for Hollywood producers. The list misses the French : Catherine Denueve and Brigitte Bardot, that were reluctant to work in the USA. The list also misses the Mexican Maria Felix that was quite known and admired in Europe but never accepted to work in Hollywood movies, because in spite of her aristocratic countenance the producers only wanted to give her roles of indian or servant.

  • too bad vivian leigh is a ho, a very beautiful ho.

  • i think claudia cardinale is the best one ... she' s fu**ing natural and beautiful without makeup!!!

  • Are you joking? Lauren Bacall ?? Hedy Lamar ?? and no LINDA DARNELL. You're crazy.

  • I would have left out half those woman in favor of others. I would have included Kim Novak, Gene Tierney for instance. I guess will all see beauty differently.

  • @1776freak Gene Tierney is in the list...

  • My top three are Elizabeth Taylor followed by Lana Turner and then Natalie Wood.

  • Vivien Leigh and Elizabeth Taylor look similar. This was a beautiful video! Thanks!

  • Noteworthy faces on some of them because they are interesting. but not necessarily beautiful. Faye Dunaway referred to her own face as interesting rather than beautiful It's all in one's point of view. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Ingrid Bergman is, to me, not particularly beautiful, but others thought she was stunning. Etc......

  • Oh, Rhett.

  • Ingrid Bergman has the most beautiful eyes; followed closely by Grace Kelly. 4:23 Rita Hayworth - by far the sexiest.

  • OMG how did you miss including the utterly exquisite LINDA DARNELL?!

She was one of the very few pre-1960 actresses that just about all the other screen beauties agreed was walking perfection. Only Rita Hayworth was more beautiful than Linda.

  • @Babyhowdy233 I totally agree!

  • All these years later and I still cannot understand why Jean Harlow was/is considered one of the most beautiful actresses of all time. There really was nothing outstanding about her bone structure, her figure, her walk and certainly not her voice! Vastly overrated if you ask me. :/

  • Wonderful video! You included some of my favorites-Audrey, Grace, Rita (4:23 from Gilda always still sends chills) but I LOVE Vivien Leigh. Gosh, it was those eyes. There is just no comparison with those eyes.

  • I include Gina Lollobrigida(Salomon and Sheba; The Hunchback of Notre-Dame; The Law)

  • Nice compilation..... but how could you leave out Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Jayne Mansfield, and kathryn Hepburn? Does anyone know who number #4 is? My all-time favorite will always be the lovely Lana Turner (1921-1995) God rest her soul; A wonderful actress & addition to classic movie history!

  • Greer Garson, Joan Crawford, Barbara Stanwyck , Jennifer Jones , Margaret Sullavan , Linda Darnell , Ginger Rogers , Anita Page , Ann Dvorak , Donna Reed , Lee Remick , Carroll Baker , Dorothy Lee , Jane Wyatt , Jane Wyman , Theresa Wright , Paulette Goddard , Patricia Neal , Ruby Keeler , Joan Blondell

  • I agree with numbers one and two but Marlyn should have been number three IMHO.

  • I know it says pre 1960 but Brook shields in her heyday was the most beautiful women ever.

  • Comment removed

  • I think Audrey Hepburn is the most beautiful!

  • Marilyn Monroe only @ #9...wth? Anyways...I think Monroe, Taylor, Hepburn, Kelly, and Leigh are the most beautiful women hollywood has and will ever see.

  • Marilyn,Gina,Brigitte are the icons of XX century. The others, yes beautyfull ,but not like them, not so icons.

  • Marilyn Monroe la 9??? porfavor, ella debe estar entre las primeras 3 ....helloooo es Marilyn el icono!!!!

  • Gene looks like a painting

  • If Marlene Dietrich is included surely Greer Garson could have been. But I will watch the 40 video. Thanks for posting. Got a thumbs up.

  • I love blue eyed brunettes like Liz Taylor and Vivian Leigh. They are really gorgeous.

  • Just joking i knew you would include her!
