nice video,I have a stucco exterior house and it's in need of scraping and painting,,this stucco is smooth,, and when we scrape the peeling paint we'll leave plenty of ugly scrape marks...is there anything we can do to resurface the stucco to make it more textured so the paint adheres longer?
the texture on your house is probably an acrylic texture, if it has little swirls and looks like paint. if the basecoat and tex is in good condition you might be able just paint it. if there is rot or mold you will have to replace that area of stucco starting at the sheathing. also you can spread a thin layer of a product called "primus" over the current tex and then re texture that for a fraction of the price. (good idea if your going to sell) but in your case i would scrape off
