But, if you could lend me some useful information, I face a somewhat big problem: I live in Brazil and can´t know of anywhere to find a Hammered Dulcimer for less than, like, 800 dollars, plus taxes. Do you know of any way I can find a H. Dulcimer to buy cheaper, or where I can learn to make me one?
Hey Martin, nice to see you here as well. I'm not sure. I've played it in stages over the past couple years. But this full version, I think I was learning for 3 months.
Thank you for posting this on youtube. It is a great help. Do you think there would be anyway of teaching other songs by Rich? Such as Creed, Calling Out Your Name, etc.
Yes, that is my plan. All of these lessons are available on DVD if anyone wants a copy. The DVD's are really nice. I just finished editing the first one. Thanks for your comment.
If you haven't tried to play along with this video yet, don't bother. To my horror, I found that my tuner was not tuning to 440 A when I tuned up for this video. LOL Well, I'll be redoing this very soon and we can all get back to what we do best. Sorry about that.
An interesting use of YouTube! Thanks.. I'll work through this tune and see if I can follow your suggestions! I liked the sound of the Low D to A it fills in the sound
Excellent work man! :) I could use some pointers

Type "how to make a hammered dulcimer" in your search engine and loads of sites come up, some really good ones but read them all.
