as glad as I am that Obama was elected, I wish McCain had run and been elected in 2000. he wouldn't have been a bad republican president. Thursday's debate is not going to be easy. I think the Republicans may potentially GAIN points. Don't get me wrong - Sarah Palin is about as competent as a loaf of bread - but Joe Biden has to go easy on her. Too much pressure, even the slightest hint of aggression or condescension and people will feel sorry for her, no matter what her policies (or lack of). A LOT of voters base their vote on personality. She just has to hold her own and bluff her way through it - that will be seen as a victory!
