No, the "Variety is the Spice of Death" achievement is different, you have to kill an enemy with every weapon, not executions.

The Theron Guards usually pack them, the level where I find them is one where you're fighting to get to the row boat.

Bought the special edition. Awesome...AWESOME game. All-new enemies, the guns are ok, multiplayer is awesome. Still haven't beaten the game. The only criticism I have to offer is that the ending reminds me too much of Halo 2 (not the cliffhanger part) the part about the whole civil war, invading the locust inner sanctum, the queen broadcasting to her soldiers on how they will prevail, reminds me of the high charity levels.

If u buy the regular edition u get a gold gargon pistol, if u preorder a regular edition and pik it up at midnight u get a gold hammerburst and if u preorder the limited edition u get a gold lancer, which looks pretty sweet
