  • i woulda crawled through hell on broken glass to marry marilyn mccoo......yowsa. one of the finest looking women of all time, period, end of story.

  • We are moving further and further away from this great time and music, the film is fading with the passage of time. There will be a time in the near future where no one on earth will remember this time.

  • Ain't This Just Beautiful!!

  • Does any woman actually have a smoother voice than Marilyn. Maybe Karen Carpenter, maybe. I could listen to both of them all day long.

  • You just don't have groups like this around any more !....Love this!

  • Woody Allen and the 5th Dimension now that is bridging a gap isn't it.

  • The Fifth Dimension were some of the best performers of any vocal group from the 60's-70's. Absolutely right on pitch and full thick harmonies like no one else. I have always thought Marilyn McCoo was the single best female vocalist I've ever heard.

  • Woody Allen had a show? Wow

  • both ladies are vert attractive

  • I first saw them on TV while doing my time in the Army. I thought that Marilyn McCoo was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen.

  • @laredo5491 You were not wrong.

  • @swt32567 Ron is happily not with us because Ifeel he went on to do much greater things for hummanity . He took whathe prechead and loved so much . He trully did it My soul feel so much joooy right now. My whole being vibrates with love for ron HUMMANITY Aliens and god.

  • I want to see it in better picture quality...

  • Marilyn was absolutely gorgeous ! What stage presence too !

  • These tunes haven't aged a day.

Woody Allen Show? Didn't know there ever was one.

  • Marilyn commands the stage.

  • I always wondered how Florence and Marilyn got along off stage.

  • Fabulous!!!!!!!

  • Florence La Rue STILL keeps the 5th Dimension alive. She is the only original.

Marilyn McCoo Davis is recovering from a hip injury. Ron Townsend...Rest in Peace.

There will NEVER be another 5th Dimension...TWENTY Top forty hits.

  • @Cch092775 Marilyn's touring again now. God is GOOD!!!

  • yes..written by Neil Sedaka...years earlier..

  • I think Marilyn is so pretty.

  • Billy Davis should have been happy as hell that beautiful woman wanted to marry him. Nice guy but not exactly a looker.

  • I think Billy was quite handsome. Lamonte was FINE though.

  • @letmetalk2u LOL!

  • You're right ...Bones Howe was great ...And so was Laura Nyro (she died too young)...but...."Working on a Groovy Thing" was actually written by Neil Sedaka....Surprised?...I was...

  • bones howe the great bill holman were the arrangers and these were laura nyro's songs.

  • Well kids,

I agree that Marilyn was all that.

But, the idea that this is "live" is silly. Not even close.

Great group though and a great track that I've always loved!

  • Marilyn McCoo was dropdead gorgeous..........

  • DAMN RIGHT

  • And a Jersey City girl at that!

  • Marilyn is still fine as frog hair. 64 & still going strong!! Bill you are a very lucky man.

  • are they married now???

  • Yes Billy Davis,Jr & Marilyn McCoo are still happily married & still performing. Lamont McLemore & Florence LaRue are still around too. The only member who is no longer with us sadly is the late Ron Townsend. Viva the late 60's & early 70's.

  • thanks for the quick feedback SWT32567.........wow, didn't realize that, it is too bad Ron passed away........he was very talented artist as I recall some write ups about him.........love the 5th D, long live their music/tunes.God Bless

  • And Flo LaRue was no slouch either.

  • Long ago and oh sooo far away...a certain brown eye gal, Helen asked the same thing of me. But Bill wasn't in any rush to take them Wedding vows. Would that I could turn back the hands o' Time an' change my mind. Baby, it looks like I blew a good thing...

  • Back in those days the guests sang LIVE for the benefit of the real/live audience watching the shows that were telecast for TV. How else can you explain the difference in lyrics between some videos and that of the same video posted of them singing the song as recorded. Maybe the producers decided to redub the LIVE singing for later showings.

  • Hee hee! I wonder song the group thought they were lip-synching to? It sure wasn't this one! thanks for posting!

  • the audio is not synch'd right to the video track.

  • but they are clearly lip syncing regardless..
