My uncle works for Schindler, the steps are aluminum, and they're painted that distinctive Schindler Escalator color.

i work for schindler servicing the escalators. the only part of the steps that are plastic are the yellow de-markation strips. the rest is aluminum.

I didn't know that escalators now use plastic steps, but some of the very old ones used wooden steps.

those are Schindler escalators because the front of the bulstrade is a distinctive schindler one

being that the elevators were schindler id say schindler cause they usually have the same company do the escalators as well as the elevators
