Capt. Ian Wilkinson is a very nice guy and like a father to me. He was my landlord before and is still my friend's landlord. He is one of the highest paid Pilots in the company. Go figure.
People make mistakes. Maybe it was a grave one or maybe they sacked him to show the others that actions like those are not tolerated. From what I heard, he is temporarily under investigation and will get all the retirement benefits that he deserves.
