  • the pilot has been fired.

  • To be exact....he flew only 28 feet above the ground. No wonder the pilot was fired after the stunning flyby......

  • he was now allowed by the airline but he had permission from atc

  • Hell, they should give the pilot a frikken raise! Not easy flying a 200,000+ lb jet at less than 50 feet. He rocks and 'politically correct' is all bullshit.

  • id stick my cock in that plans muffler anyday

  • Yeah, and those GE90 engines would remove it for you. I don't think your significant other would be thrilled.

  • Has anyone been able to find actual footage of the flyby? Been looking all over for it.

    Thanks.

  • yes they have and that is why the he has been fired for what they called a stunt the mkaed and designed of the plane was on board when he did it, he was making a just a bit over 300,000 dollars meaning US dollares a year but now hhe doesn't have a job, fot one which the news said he did a fly by, but he didn't even put his gear out for landing............THATS why it's called a fly by for show off!!

  • Maybe they can give the pilot a hook and he can snag waiting passengers off the tarmac like the train engineers would snag mailbags off poles.

  • man wtf is up with people doing crazy stupid shit in Boeing passenger jets in the Seattle/Tacoma region?!?!?! this fly-by was cool, but not as good as the barrel - roll done in the late '50's or early 60's by a 707 over Lake Washington during the Sea-Fair hydroplane races.

  • NAVDOUG, there were passengers on board including the Chairman of Cathay Pacific. The flyby was not authorized nor known to the control tower. REAL SMART!

  • It's not like there were passengers onboard, and the maneuver wasn't that unsafe. It's not that different from a landing attitude demo (minus the gear).

    Denisito, you need to chill.

  • the pilot has been fired immediately already

  • The fight is never over, spread the word about Ron Paul, and help bring back the days of liberty in America and help stop the tyranny around the world. Stop the North American Union, National ID card and Umero. Please goto ronpaul2008 website. If not for Ron Paul, do it for America, end the faltering Empire, stop the globalism scheme, restore our constitution, and renew our prosperity. Thank you.

  • It's also being reported the CEO was on board at the time. Surely he was in the cockpit. He'll get his job back, I predict.

  • Capt. Ian Wilkinson is a very nice guy and like a father to me. He was my landlord before and is still my friend's landlord. He is one of the highest paid Pilots in the company. Go figure.

People make mistakes. Maybe it was a grave one or maybe they sacked him to show the others that actions like those are not tolerated. From what I heard, he is temporarily under investigation and will get all the retirement benefits that he deserves.

He is a really nice person. I guess shit happens.

  • That pilot deserves to be shot, risking people's life for some disgusting pleasure of his. Execute him!

  • heard the pilot got fired

  • yes Cathay Fired him. Hope it was worth it..

  • some dirty undies on that flight no doubt
