It is a VERY thin line between very brave and very stupid. Selling a 1p box for £88,000 was a very smart thing to do, You could do an awful lot with £88,000. I would have took the £88K paid 1 Years rent on my home in advance then travel the World for a Year. OK you could do a hell of a lot more with 250K BUT you can do fuck all with 1p!

To this day it amazes me how well Corinne took losing 88k. She scarcely seemed upset at all. As much as the no deal seemed foolish, many people have said they're here for the 250k, then dealt, so you have to admire her for going for her dream.

IIRC, the swap was her hardest decision in the game from the looks of it. Imagine how amazing it would have been if she'd taken it and swapped for 250k. She deserved to win the top prize much more than Laura or Alice did.

I certainly would have dealt. Deal or no Deal is a kind of game where one has to fight their greed and think "This is real money." and break out of their dreams to get the biggest. There's no such thing as fate. If I was offered £88,000 for free, I would take it instantly. It's common sense. Especially with the largest possible gap.

Same old story every time in this situation. They think their box is "special", decline a huge offer, get the little money, and then come in the waterworks.
