No, the US econom collapsed in 2001 BEFORE 9/11 and LONG before any wars. The total we spent on the wars over 10 years is around 3 years' trade deficit with China. We have lost close to $4 trillion in wealth since 2001 trading with China, but only spent around $1 trillion on wars. Not to mention $45 billion sucked out of USA by India every eyar and $75 sucked out by Mexico. Stop the lies you are not dealing with an idiot.
This guy is a shill bought and paid for by NASSCOM - India's IT lobby. 13 years of flooding the US with 3rd worlders has not helped the US economy. Stop the invasion.
@burnstagger and 11 years of war in the middle east didint help shit didint hit the fan until the war started and your blaming it on the illegals :P The next generation is gonna hate americans just like most of the world hates America right now
@narutohinataashgaara The SHTF in 2001 when the US economy collapse - a mere 1 year after the 2000 visa increases to 195,000 and a mere 3 years after the 1998 increases to 115,000 per year. The US economy was BOOMING in 1998 before we FLOODED IT WITH CHEAP, REMITTANCE-HUNGRY LABOR you moron. You've probably never even set food in Silicon Valley, I lived and worked there 16 years you idiot. Everyone hates America because you are JEALOUS of us.
@narutohinataashgaara America gave the world everything ou now enjoy including the internet, PC, and all the industries that now employ your people. You hate us, but you sure don't like the jobs and wealth we are providing for you, DO YOU. Stop hating you jealous fool. Hatred will shorten you life and cause disease. Instead of hating try inventing something or helping someone instead of believing all the lies you've been fed.
@burnstagger We do like the wealth and the jobs your are providing at least my family does and so do most of the kids at school i know to but the media and the politicians make it seem like we all came to America to steal your jobs and sell drugs to your kids like we all are monsters the kids at school are afraid of losing their parents and afraid of the police some of them hate america cause their parents or relelatives were deported yet the drug dealers and killers are still here.
@burnstagger And some people say we should go back to our country but most kids have been here since they were toddlers or younger and dont know how to read or write their language of origin and even if the kids want to go back the parents are the ones who decide most kids just want to stay in america and study and go to college but most of them never get the chance the few who do go to college and graduate have a harder time finding jobs then everyone else.
I have no idea regarding the credibility of either fellow here, or the integrity of eithers institutions, but the guy on the right, Stein, completely smeared Mr Nowrasteh. I think that a lot of people watching this interview will believe that Alex has nefarious intentions and his argument is insincere. And maybe he does, but these stupid 4 minute long debates do not lend themselves to dissecting an issue. They're just about who can throw the most mud. Also the host was useless, they usually are.
Alex was spot-on, that other guy was clearly in bed with big government, he acts like a child when he is called out as who he really is. Sticking his tongue out like a 3-year old.
People who hire illegal immigrants under the table, are going to continue to hire illegal immigrants under the table, with or with out the new ID cards. I own a business, and I've worked under the table once, and from both sides I can't see one single way this would change anything.
True. Illegals meet the need for cheap and generally unskilled labor for business. Our big problems are free healthcare and free schooling for illegals kids. If those policies didn't exist for them then it wouldn't be so attractive to come here with a family or to start a family while here. U.S. is already screwed being the welfare state for its own deadbeats We shouldn't have to support foreign deadbeats as well.
@chillichomper Oh I agree that the healthcare and other incentives for them to come here is the problem, along with everyone else who abuses the welfare state. It just seems to me that the card is aimed at business owners who want to hire americans, but cant tell the difference. All I was pointing out is, that in the video the guy talked like this will fix everything, but illegal immigrants are hired off the books, and the card only addresses workers hired on the books
@chillichomper It just really makes me think the people coming up with ideas are just like "what can we do to make it seem like were actually trying? Even though we haven't done a damn thing to address a single issue besides how to fill our pockets with tax payer money"
@chillichomper That's exactly how far we have become here in Denmark and other European countries. We don't have problems with just illegal immigrants but also legal immigrants. There are too many. The U.S. is still the most welcoming country in the world for foreigners, but that will change when the welfare state is collapsing and there isn't enough production from the very rich capitalists who long have fled to other countries. And not just immigrants, but citizens living on welfare.
