@Madhatter1781 Sounds like a great way to build up your chops! I'd love to attend one of these camps someday, but alas, I'm afraid I'd just feel like an old fart... :) Was Jeff on the faculty when you were there? (most programs I've run into deal strictly with standards, so this tune seems like an odd choice...)
I saw a performance of his at my university and he discussed how the time signature was 8 1/2 over 4. It would fit either way but I just wanted to share what he shared with us.
the album is bloom, with the Jeff Coffin Mutet, however it is a much slower version... this version was only performed like this by the flecktones at several live performances.
This is so cool!!!! My Jazz Lab at Woods Cross High School in Bountiful Utah is doing this song for festival, and it is an awesome song, I love!!!! This is a tight remake of it. Nice job guys!!!!

Jeff's great...I just don't like him with the flecktones. Never have.

@kalloused Crazy. A comment like that makes me want to check out everything else.. if his stuff with the Flecktones is worse.
Any recommendations?
