It's been confirmed. Tetsukazu Nakanishi, the guy who did the soundtrack for AC3: Electrosphere, as well as much of the soundtracks for Ace Combats 04, 5, Zero, X, and 6, returns with leading the soundtrack composition for Assault Horizon Legacy, letting Kobayashi, his pupil since AC04, do the lead soundtrack design for AC: Assault Horizon, since Nakanishi's name never showed up in the credits for Assault Horizon as well as not being listed in the OST.

Joint Assault reuses some tracks from earlier games. The most noticeable ones are from Ace Combat 2.

Track 06 plays during Opera House.

Track 07 plays during Seagull.

Track 20 plays during Hunting Season (I can swear I hear the chorus saying "Hunting Season" during the music as well!)

Track 23 plays during Fighter's Honor.

Track 17, Cocoon Squadron's theme, is called "Locked" in the game's credits.

Track 03 (Lancer Squadron) is "Skyburn"

Track 04 (City on Fire) is "Cyber Velocity"

despite half the music is reused from joint assault, whats new is drop dead amazing, one of the better ace combat soundtracks. though im not a huge fan of rock, i feel this orchestral soundtrack is a little misplaced for a remake of 2, just dosent have the energy of 2...

The hangar theme is Lode Stone from Ace Combat 2, of which Assault Horizon Legacy is a remake.

One of the alternate hangar themes is from Ace Combat Zero.

The briefing theme is from Ace Combat 6.

The Data Viewer theme was the online multiplayer menu music from Ace Combat 6.

Heck, there's even music fro Ace Combat 3 and the very first AC, Air Combat 22, in this game.
