I can totally relate to this, minus the cancer part. Growing up, I was always a douchebag to my mom and I took her and all of her advice for granted. A couple of years ago, my mom got an aneurysm in the vein right above the forehead. That aneurysm popped and prevented blood from reaching her head. She got a stroke and several seizures. That memory still hurts, but it feels good knowing she survived and I now have a second chance to work things out with my mommy. :)
