@greenbayalldway She left because she was burnt out. Lita went all crazy on her one day so she had enough and left. She had to fullfill her contract with Kim Fowley so she made a solo record with him. The movies and album with her sister werent necessarily planned and came along later on.

Kim Fowley marketed this band in a way that created a lot of attention for Cherie. The other members werent crazy about that so she became a target alot of the time.

Let us not forget...This was 1977! These girls put up with a ton of BS from people to be heard, nobody took them seriously until they got signed. Even the bands they opened up for didn't want anything to do with them. The true story about the langerie is Cherie wore it to attract people so they could hear how good THE RUNAWAYS really were. When she did Cherry Bomb in her under wear (sort of speak) They shocked the world! and you guest it, THE RUNAWAYS got noticed, not for their costumes either.

true a lot of people only care about kristen n dakota but producers make sure people know that Dakota n Kristen are in it because that's how they will get more viewers, because they know they have a lot of fans (due to Twilight). That's how they do business and obviously it works. But don't worry once people watch the movie they'll gain more appreciation of the actual group :)
