I think Sheldon's character is slowly evolving. He's always been this germaphobic, logical, consistent individual whom binds everyone to contracts & displays a childish behavior in making others miserable to get what he wants. However; science itself is the study of the universe- exposing an object to foreign environments & material, the object is changed on some level. So Sheldon, himself is changing from interacting with his friends. In some ways more chilidish, in others, more agreeable.

@valloone It was more likely a cause of Amy, but we'll see. Could be another crazy experiment like when Sheldon and Amy were experimenting with Gossip and telling everyone they had sex/got pregnant. I doubt it though. Hopefully he's just moved onto Stargate.

after watching the episode, i think Sheldon is becoming more and more unrealistic. Before he is portrayed as this logical, geeky, super-smart genius who has his own ways of doing things. But now the writers are making him to things borderline on idiotic, and it contradicts against his intelligence. It's quite obvious the writers are running out of materials to write about Sheldon, so they resort to exaggeration...not a good sign for bbt
