I just bought a BG-E3 for my 400D,wow,it really feels different in my hands.From my point of view,the grip is a must have.

i agree 100% I have the 400d and then i got the grip for it and wow....what a difference. I love having the extra shutter button as well. so when taking shots vertically you dont have to reach across the top of the camera.
