@ErniesLament This is actually Motohiro Kawashima doing this song. Yuzo was working with Motohiro on soundtrack. On credits, Motohiro did a couple of the 'harder' tunes.

He also supplied the more experimental tunes on SOR3.

@BrickCity4eva You could do it with Axel (my go to character usually) but it took a stupid amount of time just timing the vert jump kick to kill him. I hated Jet. 20 years later and I still give the "fuck yeah!" when I down him.

Man, yo ucan say that again. I played through and beat it a second time today, this time with Axel, and Jet still wasn't easy. Easier than with Max, but not by much. Grand Upper helped at least.

I just wish I had a buddy to co-op with.

Back when I was a kid and played the first game, my buddy and I would co-op that like crazy. We'd share Axel, while I would swap back and forth for Adam, and he'd swap back and forth with Blaze.

@Celdrach I say the right person to use in this stage is either Axel or Blaze.. Skate is fast and can jump past everyone but he can take the biggest damage from small hits.

I played it again with Skate last night and noticed that. He takes hits like a sheet of tinfoil. But I had an easier time against Jet with him than with Axel or Max.

In fact, some of the bosses were easier with Skate for me than the other guys. I even had an easier time with Particle and Molecule later in Stage 7. I managed to grab Particle from behind and use that grab-attack on him where Skate just wails on his head from behind.

@Celdrach Yeah Skate is great to use in some stages but big bulky guys like Abadede and R.Bear don't make it easy. I don't usually use Skate that much at all

Certain bosses were easier to a degree as well.

I had the easiest time with Max, Axel and Blaze, basically.

@Celdrach Hard isn't that bad when you goin it alone. Hardest on the other hand, I had to use all 3 continues to beat that by myself.

@BrickCity4eva I can't beat Normal without using a Continue, and I wind up using a Continue on Easy if I play as Max or Skate. There's no way I'd be able to beat Hard.

And I'm still really not that interested in getting a high score.

Then again, I keep completely forgetting that the Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection can use Save States... I could totally beat Hard or even Very Hard without Continues, if I just fricking REMEMBER the Save States.

@Celdrach I can beat Hard on just one continue without Save states...that is if I use Axel..but no one else. It's completely possible to beat the game on Hard or Hardest by your self....just R.Bear and Abadede are the biggest pains in the asses.

Okay, I decided to start Streets of Rage III, and I am having the most absolute nightmarish time with this game's difficulty.

Those fricking mine-carts, that goddamn bulldozer, and that motherfucking gas-death-countdown. And EVERY BOSS!! 

Shiva killed me three times on Normal in Stage fucking 1! What the hell, did they deliberately spike the difficulty from the two games? Is Hard now the new Normal?

@Celdrach Yes, SEGA did do that...on the American Version, they thought it'd be too easy. That's why Normal feels like Hard on there. That's why I play the Japanese version which has the same difficulty settings as SOR2 here.

it was fun, got paid to find bugs/faults but it is kind of hard on the brain after months of playing half finished games 40 hours a week.

As for Shenmue I think that is a Japanese project and I worked for Sega in London, UK.

Watch out for the new AvP! Also the new Yakuza is pretty sick.

I would say more but you sign a contract not to talk about the projects.

I would recommend the job though if you can play games for a living... kinda drove me a bit mad though!
