  • lol i love red

  • Great video! very informative

  • @AutoXer

In total, how many hours did the suspension take to put in?

    Thanks!

  • nice car dude

  • thx man i love ur vid i wanted to ask u how much were they and how much do they cost! thank u

  • Hi there i just wanted to ask you.....

Hows the reliablity on a Evo???

I heard clutch goes out quick and that engine gives out at like 150k....

Is this true?? whats you take on the evo??? not the X.

  • 1.5 lbs diffrence between left and right side.... wierd

  • Why are the weights on the suspension and coilovers different on both sides?

  • Howcome there is so much weight dfference between those front stock coilovers?

  • hes from south

  • Does anyone kno if i can slide in a set of coil over springs sleeves on my stock struts just so i can lower my car? or do i have to buy the full coil over kit?

  • OMG I was cringing watching this video, I've seen too many guys get seriously hurt by not using the right safety precautions before you stick you head in certain places. A FLOOR JACK??????? scary man, this is a video for STEVE O at Jackass to try, not you!

  • you forgot to preload the suspension when torquing all the bolts back on. apart from that great vid!

  • hey autoexer, my lancer front left suspension is lower than all the other sides and makes a tink sound on bumps would a new strut raise it bak up, i already installed new springs thinking it would solve problem but it didnt

  • I think the music and his occasional mumbling made this a very detailed yet entertaining video hahahaha

  • Hello nice video and well explained. Ive installed my coiovers but noticed they rattle when going on bumps. I have read on forums that coilovers tend to rattle . I was wondering if you can make an explanation why they rattle and how to fix it. it would be very appreciated.

  • i dont know what he is saying

  • I wait to do it with button for Limousine what do I need to look for to buy

  • Good video. How are they holding up? How high was the car before starting? Have you made any more changes?

  • Say what at 4:42?

  • Say whaaaaat @ 4:42????

  • I got some coil overs but it's just a spring and that adjustable part can I just put my stock shock in there?

    It's gonna go in a 2003 lancer

  • he's listening to Iron maiden lol

  • How are the suspension holding up? I heard dampers from Megan al have different rates.Which mean all 4 corners not having the same rate =(.

  • dude i love the "Rush" in the back round! Tom Sawyer. right on man!

  • Good job Bubba.

  • you need some asian persuasion on those bolts

  • LMAO.

  • Would installation for an EVO 9 be the same? Sorry if someone has already asked this question.

  • I believe so. However, I've never done this on a 9. Therefore, I'm not 100% certain. I'm closer to 99% certain. ;-)

  • OK, I was thinking the same thing too. By the way, great videos, helps a lot.

  • @AutoXer yes its basically the same, only difference is the 9 has a little widre body

  • @Birdcage67554 They have the same body just different front bumper, mivec, and a little bigger turbo. different tail lights and heads too.

  • @philisdiller i meant for the coilovers silly goose...

  • and by the way those clips you removed in your trunk, they come off by pushing the center button into the clip then they come out real easy

  • whats the max/min hieght adjustment on those?

  • jackstands arent 100% safe too... when my uncle was working on golf gti MK1 body failed because of rust, jackstand went through and car fell on ground... luckely no one was under at that moment...

  • autoxer good shit i dont see that many people working on their cars like this and actually explaining more detail on it. Just people who race the car and that doesnt help at all. Any haters? im sure you probably got some . Hell I got plenty slow shitheads who wanna talk shit.

  • I like them. I'm not a nationally competitive autocrosser or road racer. However, my times have improved. The adjustable camber plates allow me to get lots of camber. I guess you could say that I'm very satisfied... especially for the price I paid for tham.

  • @AutoXer Are the Megan's similar to stock feel or better? I am debating buying Apexi N1 ExV Coilovers over the Megan's.

And did the Megan's come pre-assembled and ready to install directly in place of the stock suspension? Or did you have to move any parts from stock to the Megan's.

    Thanks-

  • hey how do you like the megan street coilovers? performace wise and aesthetic wise.

  • NIB in the background gotta love that sabbath

  • \m/

  • I've been trying to justify my methods, but ultimately, you are correct. I won't try to make excuses.

  • Nothing like working on your car and listening to Iron Maiden

  • How you like the Megacn Coilovers?

    Street or Race???

  • They are the street series. So far, I like them alot. I drive the car almost every day. I had the fastest time of the day overall at the last autocross.

  • thanks for vid! I love these vids I swear youtube has turned my in a mini mechanic

  • Nice job on the vid. I've done this same install and this is a very good how-to.

    Keep em coming!

  • cool video, but i think for Propaganda purpose you should wear a T-shirt with Mitsubishi RallyArt or something instead of Ford SVT heh

  • It's an SCCA shirt. It was free because the local Ford dealership sponsored them. I'm wearing a Mid-Ohio shirt at the end of Part 2.

The only Mitsubishi gear that I own is a jacket and a sweat-shirt. It was way too hot for either of those.
