  • THIS VIDEO IS AAA+++. The Blue Angels are AAA+++. And Van Halen with Hagar is AAA+++.

  • Without either dave or sam the vh sound would never be

  • This song sucks, van hagar sucked and anyone who likes this sucks.

VH with Dave is THE ONLY VH!

  • @MrVHWolf You're joking right? You obviously must be retarded

  • @King7990 Nope. Why else do you think Dave is back and Sammy's been fired twice?

Van Halen's music is up there with Led Zeppelin.

Van Hagar's music is up there with Nightranger.

    'nuff said.

  • @riolobo67 Break it up you two, keep the comments civil or I'll have both of you blocked and comments removed. I don't mind argument, just please keep it civil.

  • lol if any of the pilots have kids lol the teacher would ask every1 what your parents do 4 a living 1 of them goes " my dad flys 4 the blue angels " that be bitchin

  • Insane video.

There is some crazy footage in that clip. Nice work.

  • This is such a moving piece

My brother Steve is slot right in the opening sequence

  • love the song

  • still wanna see these guys i ALWAYS gotta leave alot of the times when they are at a airshow cuz they are the LAST ACT but i LOVEEEEE the sound jets like these makes the thursters going when they turn

  • Goku showed these guys how to fly...juss saying.

  • i saw these great men fly at el toro marine base in 1991 or 1990,its awsome, goose bumps running up your arms.one pilot was upside down about 200 yards in front of us,i worked at the automotive shop on base at the time.what a day i wont forget.

  • This isn't the original

  • These guys can fly 6ft from each other but Maverick and Goose crash from jet wash :/

  • @CKSeeps7 SERIOUSLY, do you have a clue about aerodynamics at all? If you did you wouldn't have said something to friggin stupid!

Wake Turbulence(Jet Wash), while it's most dangeous at take off & landing, is still a danger to aicraft flying close together above ground. And it isn't only fixed wing aircraft that are at risk, rotor wings are as well.

Please educate yourself before making such moronic statements... Thank you, have a lovely weekend!

  • @wschwab8890 Please keep the comments civil, I don't mind arguments, but please keep it civil.

  • @wschwab8890 well sorry sir

  • @CKSeeps7 The F-14A was extremely sensitive to air disturbance due to the TF-30 engines. They were originally designed for the F-111, which was infamous for engine failures, and compressor stall. The "A" was supposed to be an intermin model until the re-engined definitive "B" model came out with GE F101 engines. Unforumately, Cost overruns and budget cuts only allowed less than 100 A+, B and D models to be converted or built to use the F-110 engine, which solved all those problems.

  • this is the frist video i fond with sound the last one like this i heard in 07

  • My favourite song!!, love Van Halen!!, check out my drum covers!!

  • This song is THE theme of the Blue Angels!

  • @TylerMcNamerRULES If it's not, then it ahould be,

  • Meu sonho......

  • @MasterRockFan, thank you for recommending it :)

  • Is it possible to find a cooler video. Don't think so... If I had a bucket list. Flying in one of those birds would be on that list. Heck, it would be listed 1,2,3,4 & 5th on that list.....

  • I am never bored to see this video...these guys are awesome.

  • gostei muito, porem costumo fazer manobras mais complexas, faz parte do meu dia-a-dia na base aerea onde trabalho

  • LOL. goose IS A MOVIE CHARACTER. WAKE UP, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL.

  • @Hot80s Talk to me goose...

  • muito legal

  • I cant believe they'll pay me to do that.

  • @2349DF I know right, If i didn't need to make a living I would do that for free, all day every day.

  • Good VIDEO!!!!

  • este video e´espetacular

  • LOVE THIS VIDEO and SONG!!

  • I think the original music video with the old blue angel jets is better.. but this version is great too

  • @fishsticksandbeer so you want another 8 years of an idiot Republican like Bush to screw up the country even more?????? dude you need to get some education and read some history to find out why the US is at this point....stop listening to limbaugh or hannity

  • THANK U

  • @fishsticksandbeer No... and my I ask what the year 2012 has to do with this video?

  • @RainbowManification Lmfao. Good question.

  • The Blues have one of the best performances...whether it's El Toro or Pensacola. They do something for all of us....

  • @9FSBandit580 Thank you for your service.

  • @RainbowManification Thanks for the support! There are MANY great and patriotic Americans currently in harms way who are always in my prayers. I just retired after 27 years and am humbled by the quality of our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines & Airmen still in the fight. God bless the USA!

  • Even after all these years this song and video always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

  • wow........6 people who dont like this hate america

  • @meekbleek102 there probably curtain flying musleams

  • And thankful for all the men and women who are risking their lives to defend us.

  • This is spectacular! If this is what my taxes are paying for, I don't mind so much now.

  • I'm so ready to start Avionics training:D

  • @HeraldandGerald Avionics? You mean aeronautics.

  • @RainbowManification No. I mean Avionics. After basic, I will be going to the Navy's Class "A" school in Pensacola, FL to be an avionics technician. As in the computers, weapons systems, radar systems, etc.., on primarily the F/A-18A-F.

  • @HeraldandGerald ohhhhh.. ok.

  • @HeraldandGerald AT huh thats cool i was an AD...went to the same school. One word of advice "Phase B in a Bag" buddy!!!

  • @RainbowManification my dad flowen in number 6 jet and 5 jet.1998-2001.

  • @tatertot76452 That must of been sweet, did you get free rides?

  • @HeraldandGerald

I'm a former At; worked on EA-6B and then C-40s! I got my training at Middleton Tennessee! Should have gone i-level . . . ; no matter what they tell you(things like you'll be on an aircraft carrier a long time . . . think; oh, but I'll be in a shop and not the flight deck), if you get the chance to go i-level; do it; it's your only chance to do real electronics; i eventually got to do some i-level in reserve duty(something you don't get to do unless you . .

  • . . . get through a first active duty term honerably discharged.

  • @oker59

Hate to sound like sour grapes; but, I'm serious; generally speaking, those who go i-level are the most interested in electronics and hence their job; don't listen to the o-level crapola. I got out as soon as possible because of dealing with all those hormonals! Think! What else are you an avionics tech for?!

    Looks like you might already be commited though; well, I've seen some o-level guys work their way to i-level as soon as possible . . . ;

  • Can't get enough of this video!...LOL... they all have church bells hanging dude to do this JOB.... I want a ride!

  • Slot-man got balls the size of church bells...

  • i would love to be in the seat one of those bad motor scooters shooting down the enemy defending my country from the enemy!!! But instead all i became was a carpenter. Dreams got to have them!!!

  • Hagar heard that Eddie actually wanted Tina Turner to sing in this tune, so he tried his best to sound exactly like her.

  • Id love to be paid to fly a jet mach 2 inverted 50 feet from the ground humming this song the whole time.

  • combat? my guess is kill..what a dumb thing to wonder.

  • @Shankdog626 They can kick ass and chew bubble gum.

  • @RainbowManification Yes fuck'um and feed them fish...Daily this video...TITS thanks RainbowManifiction

  • Saustark nicht nur der Song ,die Blue Angels würd ich gern mal live sehen.

  • I CAN DO THAT.

  • GOOSE IS DEAD

  • This is different than the album version, the little guitar riff at 1:09 isn't on the album version unless I am really getting old and can't remember!

Damn, Sam can sing his ass off.

  • Must be awesome to be in the cockpit of one of those babies feeling those G forces

  • wonder what these guys can do in combat

  • @CKSeeps7 Every Blue Angel has had combat flight time prior to joining, so they've already proven themselves in combat.

  • @RainbowManification Haha! Just imagine flying against a squadron of armed Blue Angels. The kind of manoeuvres you'll have to expect. They'll be flying circles around you!

  • @CKSeeps7 ya i thought so... i just wasnt sure.

  • i know vids & this is one of my top 5 favorite yt vids, thank you.

  • Goose died

  • very impressive; Blue Angels, you are the best! .. great video

  • flying upside down that close to the ground cant be easy...i wouldnt want to do it...great video

  • @93CFD I hope maybe one day I'm good enough to do it :D

  • @93CFD I hope maybe one day I'm good enough to do it :D

  • @93CFD Wonder when the Blue Angels will get the Super Hornet F/A-18E with powerful GE F414s engines.

  • @warhawk40 i asked a super hornet pilot at the fargo airshow he said there's no plans on it for the future atm. I wanted a few super hornet pilots opnion's but there was only one there to talk to i would kill to see them fly those jets tho

  • @93CFD i would it seems pretty easy

  • The United States Navy's Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, popularly known as the Blue Angels, was formed in 1946[1] and is currently the oldest formal flying aerobatic team. The squadron's six demonstration pilots currently fly the F/A-18 Hornet in more than 70 shows at 34 locations throughout the United States each year, where they still employ many of the same practices and techniques used in their aerial displays in 1946.

  • Yes, the F/A-18s have much more vertical capacity, but they lack the simple grace of the 30-year old A-4s used in the original video (i.e. you don't see the A-4s needing speed brakes to stay in formation). A-4's work with the air, while F/A-18s beat it into submission.

Of course, this is coming from an old fart who believes the Spitfire and P-51 to be the ultimate fighter designs.

  • Blue Angels Rule The Skys! I wonder if any of them ever look at this video? This is my favorite video by far of the Blue Angels! of course with Dreams by Van Halen! I would love to take a ride with one of them! Precision flying at its best by the Blue Angel pilots, I've watched them in person since 1986, thank you Blue Angels for all the memories! and I can't wait to see them at Miramar in a few weeks! Be safe and Happy Landing Always!

  • filmed in australia? i thought they were american planes

  • @jtorthare The Blue Angels have flown in over 20 different countries excluding the US.

  • @jtorthare Not sure where you get that idea from. The desert shots were shot in El Centro CA, lower California in the Imperial Valley. Near the Mexican Border. It is the Blue Angels winter training base due to the good weather for flying.

  • @demopilot208 I mean it AIRED on an Australian TV station. Atleast that is the info I have.

  • @RainbowManification its a tv channel from Mexico (tv azteca)

  • @demopilot208 i think u are right buddy, because of the logo on the screen(7hd) its a mexican tv channel

(TV azteca) and im woundering why, but its a great video, sorry 4 my english

  • o melhor video do mundo todos

    sou fa incotestavel do ven

  • love that low speed fly by...

  • the f-16 is my preferance same with the thunderbirds but I LOVE THIS SONG

  • With all due respect to the Thunderbirds, the Blue Angels were always my kid-pick favorites

  • Classic song & Spectacular photography of the F-18's. Does anyone happen to know what video this is from?

  • @vodude The original footage was shot by an austrailian tv station. Footage edited together and soundtrack added by me.

  • @RainbowManification There is what looks like a TV Azteca logo (Mexican) to the right of the 7 HD screen bug.

    Azteca 7

  • @EBenderTheRobot oh, well the austrialina tv station was the information I was givien.

  • @vodude It's from the movie "The Magic of Flight"

  • HOW CAN I HAVE A SHAGGING WITH THESE BEAUTIES!!!!!! FUCKING AWESOME

  • I love it I love it I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pfff esta cansion acaba de sacar lo mejor de mi... Una sonrisa :)

  • @SabrosopiT I'm probably going to fuck this up... Elegí este vídeo debido a esto.

  • if my gpa stays where its at...i think i can become a pilot. but i want to be in airforce so i hope to become a thunderbird.

  • @BrAnDoNdUtToLiO1991 what route are you taking? ROTC, USAFA or taking your chances with OTS?

  • @RainbowManification id like to do otc but im going rotc

  • @BrAnDoNdUtToLiO1991 yeah me to, If I can get schoarships that would be great to. getting a pilot slot through OTS is very difficult.

  • The quality of the video may be better, but the footage of the original video was simply superior, the actual stunts and the sincronization with the music as well. Proof that newer doen not necessarilly means better.

  • Vroooooooooooooooooooooom

  • Anybody know what rank you need to be to fly in the Blue Angels/ Thunderbirds and likewise for a f-16 demo or so?

  • @UndeadInsanity Captain i believe

  • @UndeadInsanity There are also 0-4's (Major) and a commander who is an 0-5 (LtCol equivalent). Lots of steps have to be taken to get to this point. You don't join to become a Blue Angel lol

  • @pharaelga You can apply though, you submit an application with a written recommendation from your wing commander and your CO. Then a review board selects applicants. They typically rotate out the show team every 3 to 4 years.

  • @RainbowManification lol yea I know I'm a Marine SNA (student naval aviator) in pcola I can only dream to be able to this one day....

  • @pharaelga sweet, I'm thinking air force, not really sure what else UNMC operates besides whirley birds, care to share?

  • @RainbowManification Rotary wing: AH 1 Supercobra, UH 1 Huey, Ch 53 Superstallion, Ch 46 (retiring), MV 22 osprey (tilt rotor) Fixed wing: F/A 18 C/D Hornets, AV 8B Harrier (what I want to fly) EA 6b Prowler, F35 JSF (one currently at Eglin AFB)

  • @pharaelga I heard the harriers are death traps, even the B models have a significantly higher accident rate. Isn't the harrier going to get replaced by the F-35Bs (one with VTOL) anyway?

  • @RainbowManification exactly why I want to fly them, probably gives the best chance at present to transition to F35 once it finally enters service. but selection is a ways away for me so what ever happens, happens....

  • @pharaelga I thought it was you could pick your track but not your airplane? Or maybe that's just Air Force

  • @RainbowManification you select either props (C-130s), helos,(rotary above) tilt rotor or jets (harrier, hornet, or prowler) for advanced flight training after you've completed primary, which is after api, im starting api now. if you select helos you will go to advance and fly a th 57, if you select jets you will go fly t45s, props t44, after this phase you select your fleet aircraft. your selection is based on the needs of the Marine corps first, then how well you did, and then your preference

  • @RainbowManification I'm guessing you're still in high school. Make sure you keep your grades up, play varsity sports and participate in extracurricular activities that display leadership. Selection into any of the military's aviation training programs is pretty competitive, determine what college you want to attend, and do everything from here on out to get selected. If you want to know more about it or specifically my path just inbox me. USNA alum

  • @pharaelga Iowa State University for undergrad in aerospace engineering. Pay for it by ROTC scholarship(s) or enlist and get out and pay for college with GI bill then get officer commission after college. I'm hoping to get my eagle scout in bsa and I'll probably go out for track this spring. I was planning on going to USAFA but I'm not sure if my total GPA would be good enough to give me a good shot. I know getting a pilot slot through OTS is slim pickins, So I'm hoping ROTC would be best.

  • @pharaelga Yeah, I know that last part. :P I'm still thinking weather to go to the Air Force and retire to commercial lining or just jump straight into Commercial Airlines for the rest of my life.

  • @UndeadInsanity

Blue angels should be LCDR i beleive for 2-6, CDR for 1.

2-6 is MAJ for the thunderbirds, then LTCOL for 1.

    Cheers!

  • @RainbowManification: My grandfather always did things the way he wanted to do things. I asked him the last time I ever saw him (Aug. 2010) I asked if he truly regretted it and he said"Not for a minute". But this is the same guy when he was 17 or 18, told the Navy flight guy to give him a chance to take the test (flying Navy), the guy said if you fail it's so much money, my grandpa said "what if I pass?", he convinced him to testhim and he passed w/ flying colors and went into the Navy after/TWA

  • My grandfather turned down the opportunity to fly w/ them. He was actually approached by the head guy before the Blue Angels were heard of.....

  • @heavenly102 why?

  • The version with the A4's is sooo much better.

  • @howdiddy666 yep that one is always gonna be a classic, but this update is nice I like it

  • Those Naval Aviator's have the best job in the world.

    I'm so jealous.
