Hempfling - The Art of Lunging

can any1 help...i tried doing this with my pony who ive had a few months. i tried this out but it was quite tricky cause he is very attached to my sister's mare & didnt really take much notice of me. we havent developed a bond which is what im trying desperately to do but he is just so attached to the other mare. I have only just descovered Hempfling and I love his methods and really want to start using them..any tips/advice? thanks :)
