Am I only one who thinks this is SEXY song? :P 16 here, btw. I've listened Queen since I was 8, but some time ago I found this amazing band again and now I don't listen to anything else....
It's silly to try to teach these guys how to speak English.. I think he's aware of that it's "doesn't", and not "don't". Maybe it's just "meant to be"?
I'm 14 too... Boy, we got many 14old queen fans round there right? That's nice... In my country there aren't so many rockish people... Everyone has turned to pop nosenses...
im 14...and got my 1st album when i was 10...a night at the opera...^^
but queen is still the best!!!
just yesterday i thought of how it would be if freddie would still be alive and queen wouldn't ever have stopped making music....wouldn't it be fascinating if you could go to a queen concert WITH Fred??
i'm 12 and i've loved Queen with all my heart since my bff randomly started singing "Don't Stop Me Now" i'm like what on EARTH R U DOIN??? and that was when we first met when we were in grade 2 or 3 i think.... idk we've been ultimate bffs since grade 4 though... meh!
hahah you should have seen me, I've been rockin out to queen ever since I was seven and heard bohemian rhapsody on the radio! I went mad for the head banging guitar solo hahah
@Fritzes007 its actually not proper English he's singing in that lyric. But sometimes artists try to be cute with a lyric to add some personality to the song.
@185479623 In French, even though it's grammatically incorrect, when we talk we say "elle m'aime pas" , but it should be "elle NE m'aime pas" when written.
But again, it's just a song, so grammar doesn't really matter :P
you write very well in English so far. great job. :)
sometimes songwriters make grammatical "errors" on purpose because of the construction of the song. "doesn't" is two syllables, where "don't" is one syllable and although it is bad grammar, it gives the same meaning (no more love from her) and goes with the rhythm of the song.
other times songwriters just use bad grammar because that's their writing style.
@Juanescombro You're right, it should be 'doesn't', but sometimes people use don't depending on where they live and sometimes as an affectation. In this case it may be to make the lyrics fit with the beat of the song. 'my baby does me' isn't really correct either (it is a colloquial phrase), but it is acceptable to use incorrect English in certain situations (such as in a song)
@Juanescombro Yeah, probabily should be "does", but this is still a song. Poetry and music dont tend to be the best places to learn proper grammar.. they tend to mold it to thier liking. Its art, not english clas..
@Juanescombro in one part of Great britain, it is permanent in speech, i've heard, but it's just coloquial speech, exactly i don't know, im not from UK
@Juanescombro he says "don't" instead of "doesn't" because it fits with the rythm of this song... it's quite common in lots of English and American songs! But remember not to use she/he DON'T in your English tests, it should be a problem =)
@Juanescombro Ok boy...try to use, singing it of course, "tells me she doesn't love me" without going out of tune in this song.... What I'm trying to tell you is that they had to brake the grammatical rule you pointed out before in order to make it sound harmoniously, get it? otherwise it would have sounded weird...have you heard the Beatles' song "Ticket to Ride"? They say "she's gotta ticket to right but she don't care" for the same reason, beacause it sounded much better that way!
Why de people post their ages on youtube comments? i don't really get it.

i have a question, why he says: "she tells me she don't love me" it should be "she tells me she doesn't love me"
sorry i'm learnig English, and i just know that with he, she or it, you should use "does", but i don't know!

@Fritzes007 Just like in French: It is better to say: "Elle n'm'aime pas." than "Elle ne me m'aime pas." In some cases.

"doesnt" is sometimes to long for the text of a song, There are many songs where people put dont instead of doesent.

@Juanescombro It's not necessary in a song. As long as it fits to the melody it doesn't matter.

In music, proper english rules aren't used all the time. He used "don't" cause it fit better with the beat and the roll of the music.
