I started choir as a junior in high school because I needed to fill out my schedule. I missed a few lessons so I had to sing with the middle school choir one day. They sang this and I fell in love with it the first day. OMG I wish I had joined choir as a kid. For all of you who get to sing this song be happy, Im so envious of you, Id do anything to get my teacher to make this our multi-cultural piece but she wont.

Great song. Anyone who heard the drumming in the background, I'll be doing that part this spring. Not in the choir, but the music teacher who went to Africa this summer and is also now the African Drumming teacher, chose me as one of the drummers for the song. That drumming piece was only one of them. There will be about 10 other drummers in there with me. I'll be playing on the Kidi, there'll be people on the Sogo, others playing the Ahatse (rattle), the Kongogwe (bells), Kagan, Aztimevou, etc.
