@lasktguy I took those pics of Joey in the Bahamas and they were stolen from her and sold to High Society magazine for $7,000.00 way back in the 80's. She never intended for them to get published.

I had (still have) her M-G-M album - is it available on CD? I always liked Joey Heatherton in her movies like "Where Love has Gone" and "My Blood Runs Cold" and her many, many TV Variety Show appearances. This was back when one had to sing, dance, and act and Joey did all three well and was cute and sexy. Today, television is packed with horrendous Reality show CRAP ~ TV and the Entertainment Field are NOT what they used to be!

I had forgotten what an extrordinairy singer she was. I always thought of her as a dancer. What a voice! And she does look an awful lot like Marilyn Monroe...I never noticed that either!!

You are SO RIGHT! You are only the second person to realize that this is a pic of Marilyn, not joey. Joey was a tremendous fan of Marilyn and this photo looked so much like Joey, I decided to sneak it in and see if anyone would notice. Sorry for being such a sneak.

Yes, Heatherton was very underrated as a singer. I love this vocal, but my favorite would be Heatherton's cover of Brenda Lee's hit "I'M SORRY." That is one powerful vocal!! Thanks for the share and the fabulous pictures.

Thanks Jimmy. Did you know that I was once passionately embraced by Joey? She even called me her miracle man. It was after the fall. In LA, the early 90s. Joey was guest-starring in a musical, all Hoagy Carmichael songs. One of the come-back attempts. I went backstage to see her at some theater on Wilshire. For me, it was like holding a fragile, wounded bird close to your chest, your heart, and saying Itll be alright, little bird. Broken wings mend. JJ Mack.
