Currently training to get my PPL in Venice FL, then hoping to proceed to instrument\commercial\ATPL etc. Flying isn't about the money for me, all I could care about is get me enough money to buy a house (even if only a small one) and enough for my family. To me flying comes 1st, the money is just a bonus.
i reckon some commercial airline pilots who fly the big planes over the north atlantic there whole lifes actually choose to make the skies there place for the majority of there time on this planet as they like it so much. its pretty tempting proposition to choose being up there with all the scenary you get and the huge distances you travel. I reckon you're better off being up there than on the ground all the time. it proves we can live not only on the ground but in the skies also
Hats off to you pilots. I have a flying phobia, but I will fly nevertheless. Scares the crap out of me and I just don't know how people do this for a living! But thank goodness you do!
Wow! I honestly cannot wait any linger to start training.. Im so excited! I get an introductory im about 2 weeks and then my training will probably start September.
@LoganBingaman i wish my dad would do stuff like this but hes old lololool but a great capt. for united keep the stuff comen happy 737 you r the man..............
If only they had a fast forward button in the cockpit. Sitting there on days ends staring at the same old blue, white and dark horizone wears thin after a while. I often wonder if I'm in the wrong job, but atleast you're enjoying it.
Very nice video, I enjoyed it a lot ! I'm starting an integrated at the Sabena Flight Academy this monday 4th and this video made me even more impatient to discover the real deal :) Hats off.
Hi, nice video! I will begin my atpl training in february. I'm belgian and do it in combination with a bachelor degree in aviation engineering. What is your advise? do it modular and work as technician or go for the integrated?
I'm a modular kid and have no complaints but that was with the market better than it is now. Integrated is better when the market is down. However by the time you finish it's likely to be going up again. Tough call, but I'd head modular and save the money for a type-rating with one of the low costs carriers...
I trained via the modular route (private). CTC have a good reputation and most pilots who go through them do seem to end up in decent jobs. However it is double the price and I personally thought the modular route suited me better.
May i ask did you do all the training privatley, or did you join a scheme like CTC wings. Im interested in becoming an airline pilot and want to join CTC wings.
really great video, one day maybe in 13 years that will be me(hopefully) but can you post a video on pilot salaries because
i want to be a pilot but not a pilot that gets paid bad o'well, by the way im 14 years old and i can play flight simulator x and do everything perfect.
Pilot salaries do vary - you can expect to earn about 25-30k euros as a first officer on turb-props (nearly double on jets), and about double again as a Captain (50k on tps and 100k+ on jets). Hope that helps and good luck!
At airports like this the separation between aircraft allows for very large spacing. Also an aircraft would never be allowed to land with another aeroplane on the runway.
I'm sure any footage is great. I just enjoy watching. It's so beautiful seeing clouds, and weather formations, landings, everything and anything flying encounters. I'm going to subscribe to you. I think I watch this video at least once a day.
GREAT VIDEO! I really enjoyed watching this. You have the best profession in the world. I'm sure it has it's days, but even then you have to look back and realize that you have the best job ever. I'll get there one day too.
Amazing video man, Thanks for sharing, what airline do you fly for and what aircraft is that, it looks to me like its a Boeing 737 or possibly an A320
So way cool!

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we love to become pilot?
(3) Why do manay people want to get a job related to aviation?
(4) Why do femlae prefer to be flight attendents than to be pilots?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

You can turn the nosewheel through 60 degrees using a special tiller which enables the dramatic turns. They turn like a london cab!
