Dio's replacement over Ozzy was an improvement of Black Sabbath while Anette's replacement over Tarja was major decline of Nightwish to the point that Markos makes better vocalist than Anette. It is true that people get replaced and that's music business but fans expect replacement will (relatively) equal status as a musician. Anette's replacement over Tarja was basically an insult to Tarja's fans and very destructive to Nightwish's music and their future.

Did you hear The Siren live with Anette? i almost commited suicide, and its not about covers, its about songs of Nightwish, there for if its a bad version, sing only the songs that she can sing, some of the old songs i admite she did a great job but there are others that she shouldnt even think about it...

I agree. For those that are still upset about the Tarja issue Anette is the last person they should be angry towards. If they want to direct their anger towards someone, direct it towards Toumas since it was his decision as band leader to kick Tarja . Anette had no part in it as she wasn't even part of Nightwish back then. Anyway , as been said before, Nightwish and Tarja are both doing great and most importantly, are happy with their careers now.
OK I agree with you about not getting angry with Anette but just because it was Tuomas' decision to kick Tarja out of the band doesn't mean we should get angry with him. There was a reason why they kicked Tarja out of the band
There are many issues that causes something like a band member being kicked. Everyone made mistakes back then, and said things to each other they shouldn't. If kicking Tarja was Tuomas's solution fine. But the character assault on her and the way he handled the firing is below an otherwise intelligent and decent man like Tuomas. The sad thing is, legions of Tuomas fans think he can do no wrong and trash Tarja just because of his point of view. Tuomas is a good person, but he's still human.
I'm a huge fan of Tuomas and even I think that the way he fired her was a little bit low. I think replacing Tarja was what made the fans angry and they needed something or someone to take out there anger on. In this case it was Anette and there's no need for that now coz it's been 3 years. Fans got angry with Tuomas too for making the descision.
Toumas didnt saved band he destroy it when he wrote her a letter. Dont get me wrong i love Anette and her voice is amazing. But why did she maked blond hair?? With black hair she was more badass and looked more metal :D
I think that anette coming to the band has saved the band one more time...last time was when sami went and tuomas was threatning to dissolve the band. Suddenly MARCO HIETALA CAME ALONG!Tuomas has stated that he saved the band. I think that if Tarja didn't leave nightwish, the band would dissolve. This time for good.

....of course I respect your opinion....but you have been twisting her words in your comment leading me to believe that you misinterprete what she says and in what context a lot. She speaks about money on several occasions but it is totally relevant in the context of the interview. Or you want to tell me that all the musicians touring for extensive period of time do it just for charity? They want to get closer to the fans but also to sell records.

i know a lot of them,and i know bands that think its a lot more important to please the fans than making money..money everyone wants,but she speaks to much of it, she says she doesn't care for the people that show her their finger cause they pay money to see her still.... thats just sad...instead of thinking like that she at least should try to improve her image..when she started on nightwish i like her, but now i just dont see that humbleness(i dont know if its well written xD)in her anymore...

...well and I just see the oposit...I see her as very humble, honest (of course I do not know her) and mature in her approach towards hateful fans.
Once again she never said that thing about not caring as long as they pay....I would interprete it as her way of wondering what kind of person actually spends money, goes to the concert knowing she would sing and shows her the finger.....no logic really, more king of pure hate and THAT IS SAD.

I agree. For those that are still upset about the Tarja issue Anette is the last person they should be angry towards. If they want to direct their anger towards someone, direct it towards Toumas since it was his decision as band leader to kick Tarja . Anette had no part in it as she wasn't even part of Nightwish back then. Anyway , as been said before, Nightwish and Tarja are both doing great and most importantly, are happy with their careers now.

There are many issues that causes something like a band member being kicked. Everyone made mistakes back then, and said things to each other they shouldn't. If kicking Tarja was Tuomas's solution fine. But the character assault on her and the way he handled the firing is below an otherwise intelligent and decent man like Tuomas. The sad thing is, legions of Tuomas fans think he can do no wrong and trash Tarja just because of his point of view. Tuomas is a good person, but he's still human.

I'm a huge fan of Tuomas and even I think that the way he fired her was a little bit low. I think replacing Tarja was what made the fans angry and they needed something or someone to take out there anger on. In this case it was Anette and there's no need for that now coz it's been 3 years. Fans got angry with Tuomas too for making the descision.

I think that anette coming to the band has saved the band one more time...last time was when sami went and tuomas was threatning to dissolve the band. Suddenly MARCO HIETALA CAME ALONG!Tuomas has stated that he saved the band. I think that if Tarja didn't leave nightwish, the band would dissolve. This time for good.
