So what you are basically saying is that the male wrestles the female down and holds her while injecting her multiple times with his form of Ruffies. And when she goes into a daze he rapes her.
Hmm nice deserts scorpions u got there. I take it theyre australian. Which state do they come from? are they captive bred? how long did it take u to get them to breed? I really love scorpions and i have never been able to see them actually breeding though. nice vid. thx.
YESSSSS GIVE THAT BITCH WAT SHE WANTS!!!! YESSSS JIZZZ ALL OVER HER HOMIE YESSSSSSS!!!!!!! mmmmm tell her go make you something to eat now.......damn who knew scorpion's are this freaky only scorpio's does lol
the (sperm sac, spring ect) is called a spermatophore and if the breeding is sucsessful she wont chase him to kill him she will stay and eat the remains of the spermatophore.
and the sting makes her almost the equivalent of a drunk woman being more easy to control pretty much.
i breed about 7 kinds of australian scorpions if anybody wants to buy in australia msg me 0422687069
the sting dosent hurt her its just to numb her so she is more accepting about it all and so that she is more easiely handled.
and yes the males are alot thinner with much longer tails.
i breed these scorpions aswell i have 2 mothers with babys on there backs at the moment but have just undergone a moult and are neering the age they leave her back.
and did he end up leaving his spermatophore on the rock its normaly alot harder for them on smooth rocks.
The sperm sac is like a spring, once the pointy edge goes into her, the sperm bursts out inside her. Once again, the stinging is NOT to transfer sperm I never said that. :)
i agree with your comments imeratorz .not all scorpions sting the female as an "aphrodisiac" as in this case...hence the elongatus of thier name refering to the elongated stinger on the male for the porpose of giving her a little love tap.ha ha..great vid i have read about it but never seen it till now and i thought they only stung one claw.....did u get babies??i have a female flinders range scorpion very big,,(i hav yet to see another her size in pet stores etc.) and keen 2 breed her
Stinging doesnt occur in every species of scorpions. This stinging occurs not to transfer sperm. In some species like the Elongatus, the male gives her only a slight dose of venom to make her groggy so he has time to run after mating, otherwise she could kill and eat him up. That flap you are talking about is correct. The male deposits a sperm sac on a flat surface. It's pointy and sharp. He then moves the female over the sac ( near her chest as you mentioned).
imperatorz where do you get your info from man? My friend here in NYC works as an entomologists for the Museum of Natural History where her field is the study of scorpions! they dont mate by stinging each other-they have "flaps" on the bottoms of their stomachs and the male releases a spike like sperm in the ground and the female lowers herself onto it thereby being enveloped by her own "flap like" sexual organs!!! and ive seen and looked thru a microscope the males spikelike sperm!!!!
wow great vid m8 and beatufal scorps there... i didnt no thtt the male stings the female during the process wenever i put mine together it lks like the males trying to sting her so im guessing they are tryin to mate cherz 4 tht
Darrenwilson28 is near correct. However, the male gently looks for the soft spot in between her joints, that because scorpions are fully armored and the only penetrable spot is at the joints. He injects her with a little venom, just enough to make her go into a daze. The main reason for this is so its easier for him to mate with her and so that he has a chance to run away after mating or she will eat him up. Experienced males will never get eaten hehehehe.
the male is stinging the female to put her to sleep she wont get harmed i have scopions when they mate they do the same thing good question though hopfully i answerd it for you
@Jacknife1984 As a Scorpio myself (November 2nd BABY!), I can tell you without a doubt that we have the MOST sexual lifestyle.
