As for cleaning up lava with WorldEdit, there are two lava ID's, lava and stationary lava. If you replace them both with air, it usually removes all of it. You can also use drain with a radius (with slashes in front, but youtube doesnt want me to type two slashes).

when you have lava problems just make a region selection and set a block then set air gets ride of it every time just make sure you have all lava in there

I am trying to do this with Stone Brick, cracked stone brick and mossy stone brick in 1.8. I am using the data values but all that ever gets replaced is stone brick, the others never show

For Singleplayer:

- If you want instant mining (whatever material):

Type "instantmine", without the "" in SPC, and enter.

- If you want no drops:

Type "drops", without the "" in SPC, and enter.

you probably already know this now,

but the best way to fight lava is to select the area, and then type "//replace 10,11 0"

that way it will replace both stationary and flowing lava. ;)

First time i activated superpickaxe it worked like described. Then i turned on "Area", worked too, but now the blocks popped out. They do not disapear, so i have to collect all the destroyed blocks. And now it does that all the time, when i use the "normal" superpickaxe (without area) too. I dont know why and i dont know how to come back to the state, where the blocks simply disapear.

Does anyone know why ? Even New Start, New World, etc....Now i allways get the little rotating blocks.

You can also stand next to the lava/water and type //drain [radius], which should take it away. To remove lava by replacing, you have to replace both lava and movinglava as lava can be either of those two blocks.

You may want to play with the "#copy" pattern if you haven't already. Some other features that not many seem to be aware about are /repl, /cycler, //regen, //overlay, and maybe the brush tools, in case you wanted some more stuff to cover! Also, combining features is also something that escapes some people, like #copy with brush tools.

oh and btw... it doesn't need to add up to 100%. U can do 1%red,2%black to get twice as much black as red.

Example: makeshift lighting for a big underground room u just //set 0 => //replace 0 1000%0,1%glowstone

you can do //undo 5 to undo 5 steps. same with redo.

there are 2 lava ids. if you replace id 11 and 10 u get rid of everything, but it's easier if you just stand in the lava and type //drain 50
