Got this pedal after seeing your video and comparing it to alot of more expensive boutique pedals and it's really nice. Regarding the excessive amount of reverb that seems to bother some, I just put the stock 33k resistor on a toggle switch along with a 10k to have the best of both worlds.

@mcheeny19 Eddie painted his guitar..on the original guitar the white and black one,the really thin stripes were tape but the rest was painted black, taped then painted white then had the tape removed and pinstriped the thin stripes.
@mheeney19 he taped it to do the paint job. Painted it white, taped over it, painted it black, taped over it, painted it red, took the tape off so it left the stripes. He didn't leave the tape on the guitar when he was done
@jobyjobyjoby I agree. Anytime you get more than one sound out of a pedal I'm happy though. Some purists would be pissed off but hopefully my paint job will sway them.
The Belton Reverb Brick's decay is not adjustable. The Wet/Dry knob does a pretty good job of finding the balance. The BYOC one is very adjustable but to be honest I like to set it and forget it so the GGG Reverb would be a better better. Classy is how I would describe it.
Cool, but I know that some Belton reverb tanks are preset from the factory, to be short, medium or with long delay time.
It's a pedal I'd really consider to build, I don't have a reverb (only the build in in my amp) and I'm into surf and stuff, so the spring sound is pretty need, if you asl me :)
Pretty easy. With any kit gotta take your time. I've built over 50 kits and BYOC has the best directional material. The General Guitar Gadgets Reverb is based on the same reverb brick but is easier, cheaper, and sounds good. I can do one for you if you like just PM me.
i've been waiting for someone to post a video of this. thanks a lot man. sounds great. does it react well to overdrives before it in the chain? most reverbs go out of control then.
I actually never tried this particular one with a distortion in front but I've owned and built EHX Holy Grails, Holy Stains, and GGG's Reverb which have all performed well in my chain (Visual Sound Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde [old version], Modded Boss SD-1, Russian Big Muff, BYOC Leeds Fuzz). Those are in no order but have been on my board one time or another.

its not PAINTED in the style of EVH, its TAPED in the style of EVH. Eddie actually painted his guitar

@BradSpead7 EVH really cares that you're supporting.
P.S - He actually taped his guitar.

@BradSpead7 sorry, black, then white, then red

@mheeney19 nope, just stating facts bud.
Actually, the tape job on the BYOC reminds me of a foreign flag... can't think of what country though

@BradSpead7 I was talking to EVH yesterday and he said he taped his guitar.

With all that duct & electrical tape , how can it break? Nice demo & a really good tool to have to have on a board.

Is the Belton tank with short, medium or long delay time?
It sounds very cool!

Its hard to get a decent spring in pedal. Check out the Holy Grails for EHX those are good for ideas.

in the first part it's kinda like some top end modulation is going on, I like the last setting most, though :)
