that not a guide on how to make your laptop monitor go vertical... its a guide on how to make specificaly YOUR laptop having its screen in a vertical position... not everyone has the same model and brand of laptops...... my laptop for exablle has a totaly different way to put out the keyboard and has no philips screws at all for example... so different models/brands = different methods and ways to make thing... a single guide cant cover even 10% of the varietions

Cardboard creates static electricity, and by not replacing the keyboard, and I guess ductaping, to match the rest of the project, over the slot where you removed the screen, you have left your motherboard relatively exposed to dust and other things. Even with the metal grounding plate, the system can't sustain a good shock, or A LOT of weak discharges. Also, I don't understand why you left the screen's plastic frame off.
