This commercial explains the intelligent design of the the Audi A6. A design that is necessary to compensate for the crumbling infrastructure, roads, commercial billboards and distracted, poor drivers on our freeways and roads. Audi challenges America with this commercial.
Honestly, i love the a6 but these car commercials suck. They put more emphasis on the damn road and shit that the only time i ever get to see the audi is the last ten seconds.
This commercial is okay in this format, but when they edited it down to the short version that talks about people being too busy to check their tires, the copy doesn't make sense. It suddenly jumps to tires. Classic bad editing.

Nothing new here. In the '70s there was a story kicking around that German auto designers made plaster casts of Bronx potholes to copy into their test tracks.
The bridge with the skid marks is Portland, OR's Freemont bridge, the arch was photoshopped out. Looks like at the end is Interstate bridge between Oregon and Washington. Also the shot along the river looks like Marine Drive on the east side of the 205 bridge. Thumbs up if you agree!
If you think about it America is on of the largest countries in the world and Audi's look nice and drive great but you live in Germany which America gave money to after both world wars. And they probably didn't shoot here in Texas where we have fantastic roads. So suck it Audi your just a subsidiary of VW you fucks.
I wonder if they picked that ill-equipped camry on purpose because it looks suspiciously close to a Mercedes C-Class (which the woman texting was driving) :P
Let's see...If Audi shows America stupid, perhaps we should compare let's say 1965 Ford Mustang and 1965 Audi F103..... Yeah, that's performance.......
This is such a bullshit. I'm from Europe, and all I can tell about Audi is that it's a VW with make up....How many easy breakable electronic parts does new Audi's have? Remeber the Audi A4 and A6 and their upper and lower link arms that broke on slight bumps? How much is cost of diagnostics for errors in Audi services? Screw that. If I live in America, I would rather drive something which is easy to fix, does not contain 70 percent plastic and aluminum, and is disguised as class...
Humm...maybe if we'd pay more attention to our own country instead of sticking our noses in the affairs of others our infrastructure wouldn't be so bad. And make driving tests harder. Sheesh. Driving is NOT a right yet it's treated like one.
@MAJikMARCer Agreed. Same comment could pretty much apply to any country. Driving is a privilage, and therefore brings responsability, and no point is it ever a "right".
@expatted Sure the roads have all turned to shit - just spend a few hundred Billion $ more on the wars. And don't complain if we give lots of money to Israel so they have brand new highways that only Jews can drive on, and if you do complain - then the terrorists will win. Eat shit America, oh yeah - buy an Audi
@expatted obviously you dont live in america to see all the great infrastructure ... dubai might be the only place better than the US but still as a COUNTRY, there isn't a better place than US.
@willclements That's because it is. They didn't have to look far for any of those shots. Amerika is a doddering, crumbling piece of shit empire. Why? Because Amerikans are gutless vermin that worship traitors who've sold the nation out to the highest bidders: Corporations, Banksters, China, Israel, and whoever else can afford to buy a share in the Amerikan Scheme. It's all bullshit all the time in the USSA, and that's how Boobus Amerikanus wants it. Mindless buggers. Chump nation of losers.
@willclements And yet, that's what a lot of America's roads look like.
They're right about the drivers, too. Here in California, if it starts to rain, everyone slows down by 10 MPH (20 MPH on the highway). When the rain stops, they accelerate up to normal speed again, even though the road is still soaked.

Brilliant spot. Illustrates exactly why I don't own a vehicle. And if you've educated a few in the process, all the better. Great shooting, copy, concept.

Problem: American roads are fought with perilous road hazards just waiting to hurt you and destroy your vehicle.
Solution: Buy an expensive Audi that would cost a fortune to repair.
