Sounds good but I woundn't be be to excited yet. The lifters are very noisy, usually indicates no/ low oil pressure. I would strongly suggest your pickup is clear of the pan ( least 5mm). Otherwise great, love it.
@Natoization AU's have an aluminium pan...if there was no clearance it'd be a problem after a rebuild. Otherwise it'd have no oil pressure because it leaked out of the crack after hitting a curb

No way that think has 220hp at the wheels lol and id be checking the timing, and TPS volts, sounds off to me. And maybe the lifter sound is louder due to the blown exhaust manifold gasket? Id like to hear it with a blower and 6psi though ;)
@dreadly101 my ef n/a 6cyl makes 230rwhp id say this would make 220. that noise is just the tensioner hasnt retensioned yet. and chain is rubbing on iside of timing cover. it will go away after a quick drive
hey mate ive got the same engine with a surecam in my ef, did you have any probs with the rpm going up and down? what did you do to fix it? o and what exhaust system you got, it sounds awesomeeee
Cam is from SURECAM, They have a website cost me around $575 to my door i think, car has been tuned since then, but it runs full port and polished head, double sprung valve springs, new lifters 3inch CAI, few other things, makes 220hp atrw
@travhines he's a nice bloke knows his cam's thats for sure lives 30mins away in Port Macquarie his workshop is nuts, watched him grind a cam, it's pretty cool how he does it picture a lave that does reverse sweeps and like two arms for intake and exhaust that move opposite ways while cutting ;)
@travhines Serious, only 220? Yours should be making way more, I was looking at an EB II S that was turning 250 RWhp with I thought less gear than yours. Maybe a bad manual box?
