I presently have a Bart Reiter Special and I like it a lot, but... that OT-800 is mighty fine sounding and so was your song. What gauage of strings did you use?
I'm enjoying playing my OT-800. I expected it to be my "loud" banjo and it is, but it's also my quiet banjo--it has a surprising dynamic range. The only modification I made was to increase the action. The strings are the stock mediums.
