  • How long should one do breath of fire?

  • He didn't say how long to do it for

  • yoga fire!

  • Can you do a Yoga Blast too?

  • Could you use this breathing exercise for daily meditation?

  • Anmol is the man. I learned a lot from his page. Peace

  • but aren't you breathing in some of your own exhaled breath? carbon dioxide? i mean come on i think its too fast.

  • so this would be good for combat...or training?

  • sounds like train..lol

  • Why do i get hyperventilated after doing this?

  • @WorldIsCold : You have to concentrate on your breath and try not to think about anything else. That is the only way your inhalation and exhalation will remain balanced. Hyperventilation will go away. Start by meditating for 5 mins.

  • Wooow...I'm the 222,555th viewer...sweeeet :D

  • DEMONIC!

  • @TheKith88 CHRISTIAN!!! AAAAHHH!!! RUUUNNN!!! lol jks

I can sense demons and christians have more demons than this guy lol

  • id love to know how i watched your fucken video when i never did how did it show on my watch list you god dam hacker

  • @tonymarie1984 that's the power of kundalini

  • This guy is the real deal thanks for sharing you are a true guru

  • How interesting, thank you for posting

  • there is another version of this but the emphasis is put on exhalatiion and i cant remember the guys name but he comes from silent thunder temple.

  • what if my fore head is hot and I forget to breath. will this help?

  • I'm stupid but... it makes me laugh!

  • You don't need to do these excercises to awaken the kundalini or to sustain it once it is awakened. Your kundalini can be awakened by an enlightened person whose kundalini is already awakened. They don't need to touch you or charge any money for it. As a result of kundalini awakening you achieve your Self Realization and become a spiritual being.

  • @Nirmalite1 Thanks for the tip! I'm sure hope one of those enlightened people comes along then

  • @alicatsf I received my self realization from HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. I felt a cool breeze on my hands and on top of my head. This is the Yoga - Union with the Divine. You don't have to pay any money for this. You can check on youtube - Self Realization. She is genuine!

  • i wanted to breath real fire ....im sad

  • does this exercise benefit people with type 2 diabetes?

  • Ok, now I got it..thanks for explaining the difference between Breath of Fire & Kapalbhati - very subtle!...Now I'm wondering: is there a specific breathing exercise like those 2 where the emphasis is put on the *inhalation* only, allowing the the exhalation to be passive?

  • Does anybody nows how long and how often to practice it?

  • Thank very much for sharing. From now on i will practice this.

  • what is the difference between hyperventilating and th breath of fire?

  • @toveromo the spiritual issue..

  • Very nice and helpful exercise i practice it myself.

If anyone want to hear about my meditation and kundalini experience visit my channel.

  • Thanks for the video, it put the practice in perspective and helped me to correct a couple things I didn't understand.

  • The way You Sir, have taught the most important breathing exercise is very very good. Its equally useful for all the practitioners (beginner, Med, Advance)

    Thanks Sir,

  • i dont understand why 10 ppl would actually give this video a thumbs down.

its hard enough trying to find FREE thorough videos on the internet.

    thank u! :)

  • thank you, Namaste

  • Old soul in a young body! You're quite handsome. ;)

  • Namaste! :D

  • NAMASTE

  • "the cells begin to dance." wonderfully dramatic sentiment.

  • NAMASTE :)

  • Yoga fire!

  • you're doing a great job, thanks

  • The cells begin to dance! I love it. Great, informative videos. Thank you so much.

  • The cells are dancing! I love it. Great videos. Thank you so much.

  • is it normal to be a little lightheaded after? nothing excessive just a little lightheaded.

  • @MrGodssonsatan

its quite reasonable. bacause of more oxygen

  • @MrGodssonsatan Yep, it's from influx of more than normal ammount of oxygen

  • Hi Anmol -

Can you please post some yoga exercises for breath flow and blood flow in the chest area?

  • @arunraoseattle

seach for bastrika pranayama in google

  • how the fuck does he sit like that

  • I diagnosed a patient that had trouble breathing after a lung surgery. After I helped her with her breathing problems, I thought I could put together a video that will help patients like her who is struggling with breathing problems and others with lung disorders such as:

    Dyspnea

    Panic disorder/anxiety

    Emphysema & chronic bronchitis

    Asthma and allergies

    Bronchiectasis

    Pneumonia

I hope everyone will benefit from watching these videos.

  • Brilliant

  • Very good explanation and demonstration.

  • Pretty neat how people can figure out how to strengthen their bodies with techniques. I really do wonder if eventually you can train yourself completely to gain full manual control over your brain itself (It's actually surprising how many automated things we aren't controlling such as flow of adrenalin which is usually triggered by emotion or survival instinct).

  • do i do breath of fire prior to zazen .... if so for how long ... i have no problem establishing a rhythm but i get a bit light headed ... thanks for the vid

  • @ubermensch81 Don't force it, be lighter and make sure you inhale enough then do deep breathing after each cycle.

  • @7The7Green7 thanks ... big fan of your vids.

  • thanks it's beautiful

  • thank you very much and God bless you too! I feel very lucky to have found your videos!!

  • I love you Man.

  • thank you for the videos - can I ask for how long you do the breath of fire and how often? thanks

  • are you inhaling and then sniffing?

  • that looks exactly like the way dogs breath! In my opinion, a positive draw of inspiration from Nature (therefore from perfection)

  • These experiences with breath - are dangerous for inner world because open an input to forces, about which you have no concept. The strengthened breath in conditions of a megacity - increases energy of negative complexes, if to do it among many auras, full of rage, envy, lust - means to open easy approach in your soul.

There are more healthy ways of awakening of energy - ecstasy from admiration of art, fall in love, fair anger ( all strong emotions do it more effectively).

  • @10axyz I'm intrigued please explain more. I know its been 7 months since you posted this comment but i"d appreciate it if you could enlighten me a little bit

  • How long can you practise this exercise in a day?

  • Mas GILIPOLLECES.

  • Thank you for the detailed video!

Do you know of any breathing exercises which would be particularly good for asthmatics?

  • Wonderful presentation! Thank you!!

  • I saw some1 doing this at a party turned out to be a seizure.

  • As person who has been practising yoga for more than 12 years this is what i hawe REAR LISE. find someone who can guide you from the basics . dont do specilly pranayama without a guru.yoga can heel and it can hurt too it is like a snake if you do not catch it from the right place ? ?? remember yoga is not for money. yoga is living with YAMA S and NIYAMA s . sorry Iam not against anybody thanks ...may piece and happyness prewail on earth...

  • if you are using it as a meditation what are you trying to focus your mind on? thanks killer vid

  • Very helpful!!!

  • Dude, stop pretending, that shit is fake spirituality.

  • Question: How long does it take by intention (3rd eye, chakras) and the breath of fire to clean the lungs from smoking? I re-started to smoke due to heavy karmic processes but want to clean the body completely now. 2nd question: other than physical things smoking causes are there also energetic (sin)?

  • chatty! Does he ever get around to the breathing?

  • what dose it actully achive though ? u never explained a list of benifets to doing this over then open engery and awareness can u elaborate on them at least please ? thanks

  • Thanks for the video btw are you aware that you are a control freak? just do it and stop blabbering on

  • @SM1135ster It is interesting to note who just might be the control freak here.

  • i have just come across your channel and think you have some wonderful videos and need bit of help as i think this might be a question i should ask you im someone who mediates deeply and recently i start seeing white spots when i prey it only happens at that time and wen i look it goes away but then they come back and more i dont look the more they are all around me they are like white lights like little white spots shining can you explain what this is about if you know thanks in advance

  • AnmolMetha,

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Sir first at least learn to pronounce the sanskrit words correctly .

  • @Galavya41 i wonder why it is that people are so nasty and frequently miss the point. Words are not real, they are imagined and have no meaning at all. They are illusions we create to make ourselves feel more in control. How would pronouncing a word "correctly" cause one to gain greater benefit from the energy of breath of fire? And, perhaps if Galavya41 is such an expert, they should make a video and and share their eloquence with the world, rather than criticizing others.

  • @whitfield65 Sir , all I meant was people are climbing the yoga bandwagon just to make a quick buck , reading a book or two or attending yoga class does not makes anyone an expert . I was angry as Mr Meheta was telling people about kapalbhati ( the original name ) , without informing about the dangers of performing such an exercise without proper supervision , which include complications like Chronic headaches , migraine , Liver problems and also Hernia .

  • Thanks for the video it really is helpful..

a total different way of learning how

to do it and the different technics.

    God Bless.

  • is "sat nam" related to "m satan"?

    like one=neo

    or god=dog?

i'm not trying to be a smartass it happened to learn about letters and numbers,

and how 2 words with the same letters are referring to the same thing.

  • thats fantastic... its really great how u do, i just love to watch that video.. i started to practice myself and i really enjoy the relaxation and the feeling you get from it.

thank u very much for all the video

ps: this is quite hard but i will get there is there any exercie to get more souple and sit like u ? cause its quite difficult for me thx

  • I have a stuffy nose today :/

  • also called hyperventilation

  • yeah im practicing fire breathing exercise i got more information from this vedio thanks for posting. more power to you AnmolMehtaCom

  • Breath of fire gets me started to do the rest of yoga, pranayam and meditation. I just love it.

  • my friend for how long do i need to do this breathing?

  • Thanx for the vid!

  • Comment removed

  • thanks for posting it

  • I love your energy, this video made me smile, thanks!

  • how long should you do it for in the day?

  • I thought he was going to spit some fire out of his mouth xD

  • Thanks for the video Anamol!

For many years I have hyper-acidity and used to practice kapalbhati but that did not seem to have a great deal of benefit...

Then I tried breath of fire and it actually feels much better in the sense my appetite is stronger and it reduces my heartburn..

Can I do it for say half hour two times a day?

  • How many times in a day you have to do this ??

  • GAME ON! Thank you for awakening those around the world, and keep on keeping on. Namaste

  • Good demo

  • i found the pace of the beginer version too fast. i feel my breathes were even but i was unable to comfortably sustain the speed. is this technique still effective at slower paces?

  • Weird. As soon as i was done i felt gooses all over my body...thanks...

  • i wuz seaching for breath of fire (GAME)

  • Hi Anmol- Please reply to my questions. It would help clear doubts of many other practitioners also. I did a research on the web and it appears many places it is said to be breath of fire and kapalbhati are same. I am clear on kapabhati but i would like to learn correctly on breath of FIRE. Appreciate your answer.

  • con't:

It almost sounded as if my ribs were rubbing against something..what is that sound? It is very odd hard to describe how I did this. Anyways, I'm not doing it anymore though because I don't know if it is good or not. Wondering if you knew? Thanks :)

  • but the upper body movement side to shide swinging the shoulders as if you are stepping in front of someone(Idk if you can imagine this) without using the lower body or hips to move...

  • Hello I like the video. I don't really know anything about these types of things, but I was fooling around and you know how someone could do a shimmy with there upper body(it will look like they are moving there upper back/chest /upper stomach side to side using the force of the shoulders swinging the shoulders in a side/forward motion...well I was doing this and breathed fast and I noticed I could hear something...It was like I could hear my breath coming from my stomach.

  • what is the dangers of doing this i started this combined with not having sex to focus my energy and now i feel like i am depressed all the time and i feel i am also lost

  • @nigelbryce but if you do sincerely u shouldn't be..but it doesn't come easily and i am talking about the benefits, i mean you should atleast give it a try for one week consistently

  • Is it true we can do as many times and whenever we want ....does not one feel light headed if practiced more than limit?

  • one gets confused the more they dive into the yoga world. Thank you for this clear and helpful video and demonstrating the breath of fire is different than kapalbhati (i read somewhere these 2 are same). When I do this the breath is effortless and doesnt travel much into body(lungs, stomach), it seems very shallow breathing, just inhale in your nose and exhale,is it correctly said / experienced. Appreciate your ans.

  • Thank you. God bless you.

  • Can you do the breath of fire while you're walking?

  • @jvornes

    Yes..and Driving, and sitting ... etc.. :-)

    AnmolMehtaYoga

  • @AnmolMehtaCom dose this help you litteraly breathe fire on its own or do you still need that fuel and such non sense?

  • @jvornes, Gosh, you can do it

    -in the rain

    -On a train

    -In a box

    -With a fox

    -In a house

    -with a mouse

    -here or there

    -anywhere

  • Great video thank you so much. I really feel my entire body come to life within seconds of starting the breath of fire. This technique is absolutely remarkable. Namaste.

  • what if your not flexible enough to sit like that.

  • @ancientsumeria

You may sit on a chair.

    All the best,

    AnmolMehtaYoga

  • thank you so much for sharing... ;)

  • How long should the breath of fire be preformed at each time? How will you know when you are opening your energy pathways?

  • Is the exercise started with the lungs full or empty, does it matter? I'm having trouble keeping the pace for more than about a dozen seconds.

  • hey the yoga guy from street fighter can literaly breath fire

  • absolutely awesome!

  • Thanks for a short demo. I learned KY at a yoga center for two years and now that I'm familiar with the techniques, I'm doing it on my own at home. It's very energizing, detoxifying, and definitely healing!

  • To awaken kundalini is very dangerous, and you have to come an long way in your spiritual life to not, probably, get killed. A friend of mine has a friend who have get close to die a many times, and she said that the kundalini was the worst she ever experienced. This is NOT for beginners. This is the left hand path of the tantra.

  • @Svarti666 how could this possibly be dangerous?

  • The kundalini is a very powerful energy source, and its symbol is a snake. I don´t know exactly why in is dangerous, only that I know someone who almost died.

  • @Svarti666 thats interesting and strange, i feel like like it was some unrelated condition, but im no expert on these techniques so 'll take everything into consideration. thanks

  • @Svarti666 you are speaking true words. I suffered with a sudden Kundalini awakening a few years ago which caused my arms to suddenly start shacking and my head to move (due to rising energy). In the end I was faced with depersonalisation and extreme fatigue.

  • good job man very interesting

  • Isnt there a risk that you can awaken your kundalini too rapidly if you keep doing this

  • @Troyster21

well brother, all matters done in either extreme is unhealthy. middle way, balanced all the way, is encouraged.

  • hahaha the cells begin to dance! awesome stuff man

  • Very nice video. Well done. I accidentally clicked one star by mistake, and it won't let me undo it. Sorry! It's a 5 star video all the way.

  • Thank you for this we will be trying it later - very well explained.

  • one thing that came to me when doing it, concentrate on the inhale and the exhale will come natural so you don't do anything with abs =)

  • @ReapeR88666 I think this where it is wrong there are 2 similar types of pranayam - breath of fire and Kapalbhati (comes from abs, as you described). I did a research on this, it is commonly mistaken as kapalbhati....though i am seeking for clear understanding and distinction between these two.

  • @rikypatel What i meant is after the inhale you just get more loose and the exhale will came effortless, but thank you about telling me and other about Kapalbhati I will read about it.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I love it so much. God Bless you. :)

  • wow ... this guy is the best instructor of breath of fire ive heard . big thanks...

  • this is quite interesting

  • Very helpful - thanks for posting.

    Jenni

  • It's quite hard to do it longer than a minute. at least for me...

  • This is really good, thank you Anmol. But, kapabhalti and advanced breath of fire is really the same thing

  • Humble thanks brother! This had a profound effect on me right away :)(:

  • i'll start with basic first

  • THANK FOR SHARING, BROTHER

  • And co2..ahhhhhhhhhhh

  • BURRRP...good for releasing methane
