  • how do u make the les paul scream like that?!?!? tell me...XD

  • @TheNinjamonk3y Pinch harmonics, look them up they're pretty hard to learn but they're sick.

  • @SomeRandomName00 thanks

  • This is the most perfect cover of this song I've ever seen!!! You rock bro!!! This makes me want to practice learning the guitar again.

  • DUDE!!! sick cover love the les paul got one myself and still tryin to learn this song all the way through been playin for about a year now just wonderin if u got a few pointers

  • it may have been a couple weeks but would you be able to show how you play the verse or something sounds great man

  • I can't believe I used to underestimate the beauty of this song.....

  • Man im into certain types of songs that have guitar bass and drums in it mainly metal but bon jovi is awesome and i just had to play along with you on this video it was so good i own both electric and acoustic and i have to tell you my strings on the electric are really bendy and i mean really........i have only been playin for pretty much only 1 year learning on my own because i choose to...........and i have to say im already pretty good at guitar now but this cover is awesome i played along!!

  • do you have the tabs for the acoustic part?

  • Hey, sweet cover man :D How much was the electric guitar?

  • is it played in drop D ?

  • very very well played

  • hey man great cover! can you put some tabs together? there are a few parts that are kind of hard to see whats happening

  • I love that Aerosmith guitar strap dude!

  • great work bro....

  • Nice cover matey..... especially for your two years playing............... very good!

  • 2:50 dang man I JUST DONT KNOW HOW PEOPLE MAKE GUITARS SCREAM LIKE THAT CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A VID SHOWING HOW TO DO IT PPPPPLLLEEAASSEE !!!!!!!!!!

  • @thedrifter29 The technique is called "Pinch harmonics". It's difficult to explain and arguably difficult to perfect but very basically, it's allowing the plucked string to (almost simultaneously) lightly touch the thumb of the 'plucking' hand. This somehow makes the string "screech" at a given pitch. I would advise you check out an instructional video of which there are plenty, this'll definitely help you.

  • wow man that was fantastic, you definitely got talent...i've been playing for about 7 years now and i've mastered this song too, also i have the same les paul as you!

  • nice guitar switch... great cover tho man

  • NICEEEEE!!!

  • great perfomance!

  • cooll...!! can you tell me a chord about the intro? or plzz do it slowly!

  • Really great playing, i like this almost more than the original. I also watched your "Dream on" cover: AWESOME!

Keep playing man, it`s always impressive, if someone masters it`s instrument like you do. (btw: Your Gibson is awesome).

  • F*ck yeah!!! Very nice

  • nice cover man :) i want you to answer if its better to buy an acoustic first, or an electric... electroacoustic?? its the same?

an also how much time u have played the guitar?

    Greeting body keep rocking!!

    \m/=(T_T)=\m/

  • @SuperSpeedofSound Thanks a lot! I have been plain for 3 years now. Only about 2 years in this video though. Acoustic and acoustic electric are practically the same. There are some people who say that the pickup takes away from the sound, but I personally disagree with that. In terms of buying a guitar, it all depends on your style. I knew I was a rock and roll guy from the start, so I bought an electric. Hope this helps!

  • @MrLespaul22 :) Thanks for the information, i knew it. But my first point is:What is better to start? like a noob or begginer.I played it one year and i stop using it for one year, because my guitar is mistreated and sounds so bad.I think its broken :(it was a gift by a friend :) but now a will buy an acoustic guitar and an electric in my birthday (this november)So my first question is that: its better to practice with an acoustic and then with an electric?or how do you started? TIPS PLEASE!!!

  • @SuperSpeedofSound Acoustic strings are tougher to play. Electric is easier. You can't properly learn to solo on an acoustic either. I started on an electric because that's just what I had at my disposal. Like I said, it's all about the style you want to play!

  • @MrLespaul22 Thanks but WHO DOESNT LIKE ROCK N ROLL!?!? D: an electric guitar is required always...like a obligatory :()()()

  • @MrLespaul22 i agree, i beleive starting with acoustic to be best because it gets ur fingers stronger so when u eventually switch to electric ull fly up and down the neck no prob. i dissagree however about soloing i fully beleive u can learn to solo on acoustic, i cant see any reason why you coldnt. just a bit harder is all. ive personally seen many great musicians solo on acoustics just as well as electric. James Hetfield from metallica solo's a wicked Nothing else Matters solo on his acoustic

  • @Klipnotica I can agree with that. When I was thinking of soloing, I was going more towards what rock soloing is stereotyped as now. Look at Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here...one of the most iconic acoustic solos of all time is in the intro of the song. Soloing on an acoustic has to be tackled a little differently than soloing on an electric. There are so many types of soloing, it's hard to just pinpoint this stuff! hahhaa

  • @MrLespaul22 sorry I knew it that the acoustic and electroacoustic are the same :P the difference is that you can conect them into amplifiers :) Well thats what I know. ^_^

  • First of all, nice cover! :D

@SuperSpeedofSound - Acoustic Guitars are harder to play because the string diameter is larger, and also the action is generally higher. Starting on acoustic (in my opinion) allows your fingers to adjust and condition to playing more quickly than an electric guitar would. Once you have learned your basics on acoustic, you can pick up an electric. And after that, its always healthy to pick on your acoustic every now and then.

  • Dude is that a les paul classic? I bought mine last month a 2005! Honeyburst and i love it!

Great cover by the way best acoustic guitar sound of a cover so far:)

  • Amazing, but the solo sounded weird

  • Arghh i've been trying to learn this song and i can't get that first bit down! >> 0:22

  • Good job man :) You are excellent ^^

  • 1 person is not wanted dead or alive

  • Dude you are awesome!!!!

  • good solo thumbs up

  • I would like to make a suggestion.

Can you do a cover of Richie Sambora's Ballad of Youth?

  • I like this solo !

  • 163 wanted alive. 1 wanted dead

  • probably someone wanted dead or alive

  • Who the fuck would dislike this?

  • lol.. one dislike:D

  • wow and im still learning the chords

  • very very very good

  • wat acoustic is it

  • Absolutely brilliant, how long you been playing? you make it look so effortless!

  • wow i went to guitar center and i saw a les paul like urs for $5,000!!

  • @Programram You musta been lookin in the glass room! hahaha mine is not even worth half that.

  • Damn Bro that was AWESOME!!! Ur really good

  • @MrLespaul22 how do you get the chords during the chorus to sound good with distortion

  • @ArgenticAnthem Hey fella. ACDC's Angus Young uses chords with distortion a lot. The trick of it is to lose one or two of the strings, as playing as if it were 'clean' makes it noisy using distortion. E.G. an open G chord would typically be played taking out the B on the 5th string. See what works for you and your guitar, after all, everyone has different strings, pick-ups etc........ . Hope this helps.

  • holy crap dude that was frikin amazing, I can play dead or alive, but holy crap! not like that! that was amazing!

  • @mrlespaul22 is that a gipson or epiphone

  • @twist1098 gibson

  • @MrLespaul22 are you in standard tuning with the capo on the first fret?

  • @feAr636 nah man i was dropped a half and I didn't want to tune it up to match the recording (which is in standard). I capoed to get the right pitch. I put an annotation on the vid in the beginning saying this.

  • @MrLespaul22 I have annotations turned off :P okay because when I picked up my guitar I thought I sounded off when I capoed my first fret lol

  • NICE!

  • enjoyed every second of the video

  • Real nice!

    Sounded Great.

  • this one was about $2100. Trust me...it was well worth the money! Took while to save up, but once you have one there's nothing like it!

  • @MrLespaul22 i love gibsons so much, but its the price tag that stops me from buying one....i just recently bought a schecter diamond series......what type of amp were you playing on?

  • hey, how much did the acoustic guitar cost? sounds really good.

  • I got it for around $550. It's a Taylor 110e. It's a really great deal for how it sounds. It sounds amazing.

  • can you recommend a good electric guitar for under 500$ Ive been playing for three years and am still using my fender staracaster.

  • @PointlessVideos1000 Dude you are honestly not going to get anything better than what you got for under 500 bucks. The next step your lookin at is from 800-1200. You can get an American strat for around 1000 bucks I think.

  • @MrLespaul22 alright thanks im gona start saving for an american strat that 1100 thanks man

  • @MrLespaul22 thanks man im gona start saving for an american strat

  • @PointlessVideos1000 Strats Are very good guitars, Fender is one of the best companies. Just thought to let you know. PS I have a fender Strat. Blue, Dark blue. :D

  • 5 STars for changing guitars

  • Gibson Les Paul <3 !

    Rock on dude!

  • What are your amp settings?

  • Ahh dude I can't remember xactly. I keep my settings pretty consistent though. Treble, bass, and middles at 8-9. the second overdrive channel with gain at 6. MXR distortion + for xtra attack.

  • Amazing!! Perfect!

  • Thanks!!

  • hey! wold you recomend a taylor 110e for me? ive been playing for 4 years and i have a 100-200 dollar guitar right now. its a mitchell md100sce. also, i have a gibson melody maker for my band but my heart is with the acoustic guitar and not the electric. i do love electric to tho

  • Dude the 110e is a great guitar you will love it compared to ur mitchell. Honestly if it were me, I would look at the 600 series! More money...way better sounding.

  • @MrLespaul22 id love to get a more expensive guitar, i don thave the money tho

  • Then get the 110e. It won't let you down man.

  • great job

  • woahhhhhhhhhh

  • hey what are the settings your useing for solo in your amp

  • i had the marshall mg100dfx in OD1 spot with the gain round 11 o clock. Then i put an MXR distortion + on thop of that for some xtra crunch. I should have taken a little less gain off for the outro verse and chorus but whatever.

  • @MrLespaul22 i have the same amp watch my cover it will be on tommorow or the next day

  • @MrLespaul22 yeah i hear ya but i dont have a job and buying a 500 dollar amp would take a bit lol when i turn 16 im gonna buy a new amp

  • alright sounds good!

  • @MrLespaul22 some ppl rag on mgs but if their good enough for zakk wylde their good enough for me since i dont go gigging hahah.... i'll get it and post it in a few months (lol)

  • haha it's jus a preference i guess. the only reason they aren't my favorite is because their clean channels aren't very good.

  • @MrLespaul22 yeah on my MG30 it maxes out at a pretty low volume... well low to me hahah but i have my cool cat distortions level cranked to

  • how much did you get the les paul for?
