I'll echo Lambertmagic. I don't know what happened to her with the second half of the latest album, including Want and this song, but it's a mess compared to all the great songs she recorded on albums like White Lilies Island, Left of the Middle, and Counting Down the Days--WLI is my personal favorite. Even her b sides for her singles were all great for those albums. The first half of Come to Life is great as well, and then we get this stuff--and as singles no less. Oh well. Frustrating.
