Also I'm angry that they made Beatrice an even bigger bitch by making her step on Virgillia's head. She even states clearly in the VN that she still respects her teacher but DEEN just threw that out the window

I'm saying the anime added it in for extra drama, but at the same time it can be explained away with North Wind and Sun. Beato acts like a b****, and the viewers trust Virgilia even more.

No it didn't happen in the VN, big whoop. DEEN ruined the anime in other ways, but you came across like Beatrice stepping on Virgilia's head is what destroyed the anime. In the VN, Maria was only taken away to be cooked into apples, but in the anime she was already cooked. Problem?

@nejiharuno Perhaps Beatrice cloaked the spears that ran through Virgillia and put forth sensory illusions to keep her from feeling the spears through her torso until Beatrice wanted her to feel them. That would be my guess. As for where those spears came from, perhaps the 2 back shoulder towers fired at two of Virgillia's rearguard spears and caused them to get knocked into her torso. This explanation would be my guess.

Virgillia seemed quite kind and motherly when she was about to turn Beatrice back into her original form. It was heartwarming which made her defeat all the sadder and more tragic.

I also like the cute sounds that the 7 sisters make from 0:50 to 0:52, those girls are cute, almost like naughty schoolgirls from some sort of porno movie, heh heh.

Virgillia is quite beautiful looking and seems like a nice being and a mother-like figure. I was actually rooting for her to win since she does not seem the sort to misuse her powers like Beatrice, Lambadelta and Bernkastel do..... Too bad Beatrice managed to beat her. When Virgillia fell, I was let down to say the least.....

By the way, Beatrice has a rather wicked laugh at the end........

sry i had to... anyway i didn't really like virgilia. virgilias not supposed to be as "forceful" sounding. that's why she asks that the sons bestow the spear. the voice in this though sounds somewhat demanding. virgilias supposed to (at least sound...) like a nice witch :P. until maybe the end of arc 3 :P

I feel that new Beato's and old Beato's voice are too similar. If possible it would be nice to see new Beato's voice to be a little more younger and eccentric, while old Beato's voice to be a little older.

Superb mixing I've come to expect and Beckie wowed me with such a refined style few VAAers can work. Great choice there and Sarifus again is a seemless fit. But Sapph, you do need to pay closer attention to your own reads and tighten up that enunciation. You dropped the word "at" from the very first sentence. "idle" and "extra" were also noticeably slurred to me.

I mostly really wish you sold the pain of Beatrice's impalement. No strain, no shortness of breath. It could've meant so much more.

@StrawberryCreme26 you know I think it is more to be faithful to the VN, I don't like what DEEN done but if they would have shown the spears right away any shock value of the ending, plus we don't find out virgilia was stabbed in the VN until that point either, it is event the same in the manga.

Plus Ronove even explains Beatrice brought her back to life so it si likely she just reversed the magic she had previously used.

@stormcomander well the spears dissapear cuz Beatrice use magic to revive Virgilia for a time then Virgilia kill Beatrice and then when she's reviving her, Beatrice use magic to leave Virgilia like before that means with the spears in her chest. sorry if i write it wrong but i dont talk english :/

@ultimater200 Its set in the 80's. The head of the family is about to die so he invites the family to the island home to see who gets what. It turns into some crazy "Saw" like game where the only way to beat the game is to figure out what Beatrice's riddle means. Death, tears, and lulz ensure.

Well thats that in a nutshell. It's been a while since I watched the entire series. Also the final episode ruined everyone's Christmas in Japan IRL.
