LG - if anyone hasnt specified already, you MUST go to the right side on Smithing (starts with Dwarven Smithing) in order to obtain Daedric Smithing. I learned the hard way and thought you could go around the other way because Daedric Smithing is connected with Dragon Smithing. Didn't work out.

In order to join the thieves guild, you have to to talk to brynjolf in the bee and barb in riften or in the stalls where they sell food, armour, etc at riften. Do his mission. If you fail his mission it won't matter because brynjolf will still let you in the thieves guild.

you have to go in order, if you go to the right it ends at daedric, if you go to the left it ends at dragon armor

The difference in skyrim and oblivion in my opinion when leveling up is that skyrims perk trees are VERY good so that even as the enemies level higher you can have for example a 100% extra damage sword or bow. Or you can sneak so well that when you hit enemies they don't even notice you. I advise that you spend your perks wisely

also idk if u found out already but you have to go in order with the perks but only need to do the ones in the branch you want not all perks period just the ones leading to the one you want :)

go to riften. Their is a underground door by a dock. Thieves guild armor allows you to carry more stuff so it is badass
