a great addition would have been some hd PS3 footage.... the PS3 is 40 times more powerful than the PS2... and the PS2 is 2 times more powerful than wii :P
ya, i think you're right about it, and the clip i used is not from the original machines too. this is a clip for a presentation in class which time is limited, so i couldnt really make a long and detailed list of all the games in all machines. so i just used to least time and make this video as short as possible.
but ya, i agree with you ^^ thanks for your comment
You've actually done a really good job of this video. You obviously have a talent for editing and picking the right kind of footage. Don't worry about the video games themselves, people who get "Het up" about games generally masturbate too much or they're like 12.
Thank you for looking at the editing work instead of the games themselves lol I am sure there are people who want a perfect video which shows the original clip and more in-depth information of games, but for a class presentation on technology, I think I have to sacrifice that.
I really appreciate your comment! If you have time, you can take a look at my other works ^^ Once agan, thanks!
hey thanks you there for your comment. im sure i can do a better job on this video if i have better researched on the right order and also getting the screenshot from the original machine.
1) I'm pretty certain the Pong you display didn't come out in 1972 (the first Atari Pong home version was released in '75), and wasn't called the 2500 (that was a pre-VCS/2600 prototype that was never released).
2) Your Pac-Man video does not come from the Atari 2600 version - it's definitely from a home system, not the arcade, but I think it's likely to be one of the Atari computer systems (400/800). It also could not be from '79, because the arcade version wasn't released until '80.
Thank you for your comment. Ya, I think I cheat on not using the original screen cap of those two games. Basically, it's because of the lack of time on searching for those clips and I thought the clips I used would still give the class the ideas of which game I am talking about. But true, to show the evolution of games, I should have used the clip of those original versions. Thank you for your comment again.
Bah rubbish. For a video purportedly about the evolution of video games it's horribly haphazard and doesn't even attempt to provide anything beyond 5-second videograbs of a few games. No FPS games? Somewhere around 10 games when at least a hundred have had more impact than the few you chose (especially the more recent ones)? Pah, FAIL.
First of all, thank you for your comment. This video is actually aiming to show the change in graphic quality, availability of new way of control, new style of game type being made possible because of technology but not to show Legendary games released. And actually, what count to be Legend varies personally. I think there is somewhere better can be done in this video clip, but due to the time limit of the presentation, i need to shorten the length of the video clip.
I'd rather see an Evolution of game genres. Pong, Ping Pong, etc. Or Tetris, Tetris 3D, etc.

cool video, but i give it a 4/5 for being out of order. evolution: chronologically consistant, less complex to more complex o:
