ok first of all... aaaaaall these trucks are 4x4! there is no one that stupid to drive up this mountain with 2 wheels.... anyway this sport is not based on just driving straight up an fall down, they have many mountains and all kinds of off road tracks, they also drive on water like in Top Gear with Hammond, just take a look at formula offroad in sweden, finland or some. Can someone tell me how they calculate the points for the hill climb (ie. what the points are based on)? It seems the guy who went the furthest didn't score the highest points so I'm curious.

Hi the points are based on how far you go up the hill, but you can lose points by touching or driving over the

tires that mark the course, you also lose points if you go backwards

I dont know others, but driver from Finland, Miikka Kaskinen uses a modified, 8800cm3 Chevy Van motor, and NOS. They produces ~1000 hp, ~1200 Nm. That is a lot of POWER! :P
