  • Looks like a nice takeoff.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what is the top speed of this thing

  • they go average 30mph depending on the payload. there is no slowing or speeding up this contraction. the throttle only controls your pitch.

  • @dratorent - yep 30 mph. Uses about ten gallons of gas (full tank) in one hour - so you are limited to about an hour of flight. You typically fly at about 200-500 feet up... 300 or more - better to avoid unexpected things :-)

  • full tank is less than 2 gallons son, usually around 3 liters on the wheeled versions,, flight time of a few hours to even more can be had with just liters of fuel

  • @petthekittyz Fuel tank is most likely 10 gallons. Motor is a Rotax 503 or 582, 503 burns 2.75 gallons per hour and 582 burns right at 3 gallons per hour.

  • It was flown by a guy I refer for home inspections (he is a home inspector & friend of mine).... so - he was just having a little fun with me... I didn't even flinch :-)

    Fun flying w/him...

  • It got pretty close to you!

  • that would have scared the crap out of me! lol:)
