Yeah man that reverb is like so nasty anyway no matter what anyone says I have a TremKing on a Tradtion strat and I will tell you that it will not stay in tune with only the two springs installed. Also if you try to get agressive with it like a Floyd Rose what happens even after Talking to the owner Rusty at Tremking and tweaking with him on the phone the spring will indeed pop off there just right now is not way to get around it.At Namm this year 3 Guitars went out of tune during demo.
i look for a new tremolo, with more tuning stability, witch i can put on my tokai strat, without destroying to much. i like the feeling of the original strat tremolos.and the fact, that you can push it so hard, that the neck pick up magnet is catching strings, and let them play, when you release the tremolo.is this possible with the trem king?
it's not the reverbe, your GT gets out of tune, a little.do you use locking tuners ore bridge.i like gotoh HAPM.thnx 4 your video and an answer. moritz
I have a standard strat with a TK-1. I love this tail piece so much my custom built strat is having one installed. Spend the money and ship it to them. They do beautiful work. You cant even tell it was modded. Another thing peeps fail to mention is you don't get any extra noise outof the strings. What i mean by that is when you're pulling on the bar, only the strings you play ring out. Not the other strings. And the string saddles look hard core! Super solid piece of hard ware IMHO.
just some chords and single note pull ups and drops ,
dont worry about anything except isolating the tremolos performance.
I ordered two of these last night to check them out against my other tremolos,
I'm glad to see new developments such as these becoming available lately for us tremolo users. There is some other great stuff which I use as well, The Stepmax and the new Cutlass tremolo (formerly Point tremolo) each has its strong points. Im curious about it..
I know the concept of this trem, but have heard that there is a noticable resistance as you pass the neutral resistance point.
a lot of my use is gentle vibrato around one note..... do you feel that this trem would be do that kind of thing well ? .....could one get used to the resistance in the center position ?
Thanks for the vid man.i think you did the thing more justice. One of the Main problems I have with my Floyd Rose is that when you pull up on it it lowers the action so much that it cuts off the stings if you play them in the 14 to 18 is areas but on these when you pull up it doesn't do that to the action right? Because the strings glide across the sadles and they never move?

By using all that reverb you destroy the listeners perspective. :(

@awesomejohnnet I shall do a new demo without reverb if that would suit you.

Yup that's correct, because the saddles don't move the action will not change. So fret buzz wont occur like in other tremolos.
