Vikings are winning the superbowl and to say something about the last 5 games, he had a bad shoulder that is why he threw the interceptions, Vikings are going to the superbowl and all non-Viking fans can suck on it.
mcohen07834, I disagree with you completely partner. Question for you, who would you rather see leading the vikes, tarvis, sage or farve??? Hech, that is such an easy question that I would be very upset if you did not pick Farve, whom is a future Hall of Famer with loads of talent and many years of NFL experience. I'm not knocking your opinion since we all live in America and we have our own thoughts, but come on, how long have you been in tune with the NFL. You sound like an East coast guy!!
brett favre signed with the vikings for two years not to get back at green bay. his quarterback coach from GB is the vikings ovensive coardinator so he wont have to learn a whole new offense he ran that offense for 16 years. favre has had a tear in his rotator cuff for a long time and that hasn't bothered him what bothered him at the end of last year got fixed thats why he had surgery. the vikings will have a damn good team this year and will come out winners of the division with no problem.
Jackson and Rosenfels can barely be called backup qbs, all the Vikings needed was an average one. The Vikings don't need a qb who can throw 50+ yd passes, just one who can open up more options because the Vikings have been one dimensional up until this point. There has also been a lot more communication and desire from the Vikings players with Brett than with the Jets and I doubt there will be any tension built up except with the other QBs. It's a chance for Brett to end on a good note.
favre has obviously never heard the sory of the little boy who cried wolf. his legacy is completely tainted and like you said he's gonna drag the vikings down with him
I agree, Favre's best days are behind him, and I don't see how this makes them a contender. Better than Jackson, Frerrotte, Rosenfels, etc? Sure. But not good enough to win them a Super Bowl, not in this day and age.
