  • Very nice Stephen,Well done,I play acoustic guitar myself(Bluegrass) I know your mum and dad really well,I live in New Bandon..was talking to them at Tim Hortons on March 22nd,2011,They were telling me about your video clip,we happen to be talking about computers, your mom was having some problems with videos on Youtube, they would start and stop, etc.I didn't check her computer out,but told her the problem probably could be rectified,Anyway..really enjoyed your playing, have a great day.

    Steve

  • can i have the tab? plzzz :]

    Steve

  • Outstanding job! Can I have the tab also?

  • Thanks! Happy to send you the tab, if you email an address I can forward it to you...

    Steve

  • Like it. Do you play with other people? Just thinking there are a few pauses where you seem to be working out what to do next... and yet really nice harmonics etc.

  • Many thanks. At the moment I don't play out much let alone with other folks, but always love to when I can. Funny thing about this tune (and some others) is I never really play them the same each time and each time I just try to express it and 'feel' for the sounds, and pauses, which are just as important. Although like many folks I practice a piece alot, I try not to perform it mechanically, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!

    Steve

  • No problem

  • Thanks, it is a nice tune. you're welcome to the tab if you like, let me know.

    Steve

  • beautiful playing.. keep it up

    Steve

  • Hi, most welcome, enjoy your site, have olny gotten this message, but stay in touch, great to chat to other guitarists!

    Steve

  • oh interesting! hi and thanks for the response, will give have a go with CGDGAD.. ths sound is just beautiful, and so different to standard tuning.

  • Awesome. Anyone waiting for a tab - try playing around with DADGAD tuning, you'll soon find it.

  • Hi there, thanks for the comment, much appreciated. Yes, this can be done in DADGAD (such a nice haunting tuning eh?) but this particular version I do in CGDGAD, kind of a mix of DADGAD, Open G and Open C, a real smoregadsbord but you get that low C over a half G tuning for low end mellow and the GAD for the haunting!!!

  • Very nice. Thankyou.

  • Glad you enjoy it! More to come soon...

    Steve

  • Beautiful version of the song, great job.

  • Thanks!

    Steve

  • have you got a tab for this please?

    Steve

  • have youo got a tab you could send me at all please?

  • Hi, well actually no, just do that one by ear in an altered tuning, but I can put something together for you as a rough guide, give me couple days, quite busy at the moment.

    Thanks

    Steve

  • Hi Steve, that would be excellent if you could. thanks :)

  • Very nice.
