Hey man -- thanks for sending me the ilnk to the vid.
I've really come to the point, after practicing eastern religions for a little over a decade, that I just don't give a shit anymore. I had a little experience -- a nanosecond's worth -- that showed me everything was perfect.
Now, I'm just trying to enjoy what I have in my life now. I've grown tired of much eastern philosophy, and am just going along with mindfulness meditation.
@Robert427W Yeah - who needs the esoteric philosophy, when you can go straight for the experience of flowing along in the mument - through mindfulness, for example. But a lot of people seem to make a fetish of this whole eastern thing. They make it their new identity - complete with exotic commodities, like a little statue of the buddha. Really, it should be about finding the essence of zen in your own culture. So, for example, I think my allotment is very zen :-)
you talk too fast, goddamnit.
