Yeah, they have the means to make wii a larger staple in the pokemon series. Maybe like a combination of this and pokemon XD, where you don't have to own the ds games to get good pokemon on, but you still can. I agree with Mantis, a good story and cleaner online experience would make this much more enjoyable.

I think they should make a pokemon game where in the battle, you control your pokemon, as in you ARE them. Kind of like Pokepark, how you're the pokemon, but in this the game would be mostly battles, and you'd only 'be' your pokemon during battles. I think that this would work best for Ds, X-Box, or something like that. Wii wouldn't work too well. For DS, the A, B, X, and Y buttons would correspond to certain moves, and the R and L buttons would be to dodge and jump.

Something that would make me laugh so hard is if they made it for gamecube. I know it's old, but, seeing how Wii works with Gamecube, that would be pretty cool. Or, of course, they could do it Super Smash Bros Brawl style, where you could use Wii remotes or the good old gamecube controller.

In my opinion, you guys don't get the point of this game. This game was meant to create an awesome hardcore experience for the true Poke-maniacs. Think of it as an Battle Frontier with some extras! Die-hard Pokemon fans should love this game!

But hands down: If you don't absolutely love Pokemon, this game will give you nightmares. Wait-take that back. It's not, like, E.T. terrible, but rather terrible that you'll get depressed for a day or 2. Since I love Pokemon, this is one of my fav's.

I mean this game seemed lacking. But you have to give them credit. They had to make 493 different Pokemon models and everything. The game does have some nice looking graphics.

What this game needs, is a story mode, better wi fi, mini games, online interaction, a better customization ( height, eyes, nose, mouth, chin, style, more selection of clothes, custom colors, etc. ) It just needs more stuff! I mean this game kept me on it for maybe a week, and it was after I got wisdom teeth surgery. The game could have been so much better. It's almost like Nintendo through this game together in one week!

this game is very subjective. it's pretty much made just for people who have the appropriate linkable games and I'd even go as far as to call you an idiot if you were to buy it.

And also the wifi is just fine, has this reviewer like never heard of message boards or something? you go on message boards to arrange proper match's unlike the slightly dry and irritating random battles you can do on wifi.

Its garbage since you cant get pokemon if you dont have a ds. But if you go to the trade battles using your rental pass, you can just about get any pokemon you want.

Eh. This game is really nothing special. Its better if you have D/P to use your own pokemon, but not something i would buy. I dont really see myself playing this game unless friends are over. Stadium 1 and 2, Colosseum, and XD were better. 1 and 2 had minigames if you got tired of battling, and Colosseum and XD had an actual storyline. IMO PBR just dragged it all down.

Game is nothing special just makes your fights look better nothng new while playing.. N64 version was even better then this. Nintendo needs to wake up and improve their gameplay and realise that not only children play this game and want some quality!

Im a hardcore fan of the games. Loved Stadium, Loved Stadium 2. The Gamecube version sucked, Gale of Darkness was completely gay. But this one takes the cake. It has nothing from the previous games except stripped down online battles that don't even work right, hardly any modes to choose from, and this whole game was nothing but a cash in by Nintendo. They failed with this one.

One thing i found fun with Wifi is that you can scam passes off other people. He missed the "All pokemon defaulted to lvl 50" part, so it level masks. I pick low level Sh!t pokemon and trade passes with people who have lvl 100 shiny mewtwos and groudons, then they see my pass and go "WTF", as i get their pass and unlock the special Battle pass types.

Well this game was good, but I thought it could've been better with a bit more features.

Like what Charchar81 says, contest, or perhaps a lobby on wifi would be nice using ur avatar to browse around for an opponent. A story like in Colosseum and XD wouldn't hurt either.

Meh, I was thinking about getting this game for christmas. But I do not own a DS or the other games, but if I was to get those thisd would probably be a game I would pick up.

Finding people online to play would be fun and chatting to them online on other sites aswell.

All in all though this game looks kinda dull.

Nintendo needs to make a pokemon RPG where ou dont need those other games, and also make it online. That would be a good game.
