No offense I know it's hard to dance for 2 minutes straight but I could tell you were saving your energy for the song change because you were looking really sloppy right before the change. Keep the song change in your head, but don't make it too obvious with your body language.
@Zamzummin Thanks for the comment. This was 3 years ago and I now know that this was a really weak performance . At the time I was just going for somehing different because I was competing against people who basically did the same thing every year. I wanted to change it up a bit so I did slow hip hop. This was also my first solo that I made up.
Oh, okay! I thought that Timbaland + One Republic collaborated to make Apologize. :) For those wondering, here's the original (?) Apologize: watch?v=REsezs6cQRc
they dont know what they are talking about.. you are a great dance teacher . andd you are a verry amazing dancer. i cant wait until we start our dance classes again in january. :)
Seriously read the title because for one I was wearing sneakers so there is your first clue that this is not jazz or lyrical. This was a hip hop dance. If you don't know about hip hop, well you don't point your toes. It was like 3 years ago and it I don't see as good anymore I actually laugh a lot while watching it now but at the time it was good considering I won 1st and the high mark trophee. I was trying to do something different and lots of people appreiciated it.
Also for hip hop this has plenty of passion in it. And just for the recoure I am 17 years old and have been dancing for 15 years. Also notice how what I do goes with the word and hits almost every beat. Don't tell me I don't know what I am doing.
i think it is good i think its awesome...and im not dissing you i promise but it reminded me of the style of dance mixed with hip hop that specifically tells a story like um i cant remember what it is called and I know alot of dance tells dif stories but I mean it was very easy to catch the way this was done.
nice moves but you might want 2 dance to others songs with a slow baet
