  • Question! First of all, I do understand that someone working as a professional may need to use 20-100 payers. But let's assume most of us aren't pros. Why would the average person doing photo editing need anywhere near that amount of layers? I might use 3-8 maybe higher but for the most part. Never 100 or even close. Unless I'm missing something, entirely! Thanks for the leg up. Nice Job!

  • "M" as in "Mancy", How do you spell that?

  • he sounds like that wilson dude from dr house xD

  • Lol "Do your work, don't be stupid."

  • Help please! Layer pallet isent on the right of my screen... under Window, "Layers" is selected. NEED HELP IM ON CS4!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

  • click on window on the menu bar then click on layer then put the layer palette next to channels so it will be there next time you use photoshop

  • if u closed this project down how would u get it back to the way u were working on it...the layers in the same order and capable of working on it. it wouldn't be that hard if i could just open the original "background" then copy "layer 1" and paste it into the blank layer.photoshop instead of making something common sense they make it difficult

  • when u have a background and layer 1then save each individual "background" and "layer 1" file, and shut down the project.how do u get it back to the way it was? opening the original background file and then how do i get my layer 1 back to the same place to work on it.i can get it there but i can never work on it. basically i need to open the project again and have it as i closed it

  • So apparently making layers will save my ass O_O

This is what I have learned today.

  • You have steam on mac?

  • is it a wow icon i see in the bottom? :D

  • LOL @ "I shouldnt have used that word twice, but I just did".

Excellent tutorial. Couldnt have been explained better.

  • awesome.. i didn't know about the layer sets.. thankyou ^^

  • I tried so hard, but I'm too stupid to manage it and have some success. :|

Would you please explain to me how you drew 2 squares (I had trouble finding even that :( ) and how you pull them apart. When I drag them around they just go together. I'm so stupid.

Also I don't know how I managed to put the squares onto one layer. First I had them on two but then I somehow managed to but them on one single layer.

Maybe I'm just too stupid for Adobe CS3

  • learning layers better than i learned is saving my ass xD

  • God I love your laid back approach. These tutorials are better then any book I could have bought.
